I have redness and rosacea, so when my skin is acting up, liquid products can cause tingling and irritation. That's when I was recommended this product and decided to give it a try. It's non-irritating, doesn't settle into fine lines, and provides pretty good coverage. I usually finish my base makeup with just this! I've been using it for about 2 years now and I'm still loving it. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out. I apply it with a brush, or when I'm feeling lazy, I pat it on with a Daiso microfiber puff. By the way, the redness on my cheeks in the photo is blush... The product does a good job covering my natural redness! I'm usually as red as a tomato! The built-in puff isn't great, so I don't use it. If you apply too much skincare or use products that tend to pill, this can sometimes pill too. When that happens, try patting it on gently instead of rubbing it in! - ch********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessNov 14, 2024
It's convenient to carry around for touch-ups. The Make Up For Ever puff is easy to use on both sides. It's great for removing excess oil after applying foundation by gently patting it on with a brush. From the initial makeup demonstration at purchase, even with minimal skincare, there was pilling and dead skin cells became more noticeable. It's too harsh for all-over use on my skin, so I only use it to control oiliness in specific areas. You can naturally control oil by using a brush to apply it on areas that tend to get oily, like the forehead, T-zone, and smile lines! - ch******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedAug 21, 2024
As someone with combination skin, I often find cushion foundations too oily by afternoon, so I opted for this powder foundation instead. It offers good coverage and has a fine, smooth texture. If you don't prep your skin well, it might emphasize dead skin cells. Make sure to do a thorough skincare routine before applying. Also, the sponge applicator is a bit awkward to use. - jh*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 27, 2024
This seems to be the best powder foundation I've tried so far for covering pores Compared to MAC powder foundation, it has fewer ingredients and seems decent, but something still causes a reaction. I'm baffled because I can't figure out what my skin is doing. I've been trying various powder foundations since they're supposed to be better for sensitive skin, but every time I use this one, I get something like folliculitis, so I had to stop using it. Be careful with the amount you apply, and be cautious when applying over moisturizer as it can cause pilling if your base is too rich - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 27, 2024
A must-have for lazy beauty enthusiasts! True to its powder expertise, it gives a beautifully soft-focus, porcelain-like finish While it's moisturizing for a powder, if you skimp on skincare, your skin might feel parched. The included puff is so subpar you'll need to bring your own brush Not sure if it's still available everywhere, but swapping the puff for a Picasso flat brush is a game-changer - ar*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 26, 2023
I just discovered powder foundation for the first time. Is it a foundation in powder form? Or is it like a compact? Well, whatever it is, I tried it out. It's a perfect match for my dull 21 shade that needs a pink base. I tried using it like a compact: Mefactory primer - foundation - Mefactory powder foundation. Since I always set with powder anyway, I tried it like that, but it gets messy when it breaks down later and becomes thick. ★ Then I tried using it as a foundation: Mefactory primer - Mefactory powder foundation. What a game-changer! It was amazing how it sat on bare skin. It gave a Photoshop blur-like effect. And when it breaks down, only the oils come through nicely. Pros: The large mirror is great. It's convenient for quick makeup. Good coverage. No dryness. The corners of the square puff can leave marks on your face. You need to blend it well. - fl*************Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 18, 2023
Honestly, it's amazing... Why haven't I used this before? A foundation that only needs one-step cleansing? I thought it would be old-fashioned, but it's incredibly lightweight and beautiful. The renewed version seems to have improved ingredients, applies well, and gives a radiant look. Advantages: 1. Cleanses off easily!!! Just one wash with a cleansing foam or gel is enough to remove it. 2. Applies beautifully with a matte finish / Since it's a powder type, it might not apply well on bare, moisturized skin. I applied it after using a translucent powder, and it looked stunning... It creates a gorgeous powdery makeup look. 3. Great ingredients / Compared to the discontinued previous version and other twin cakes, the ingredients seem better. 4. Makeup lasts until you get home / For combination skin, except for the T-zone, it looked exactly the same as when I applied it in the morning... It's amazing. Things to note: 1. First-time users might find it tricky to use. Try to catch application tips from YouTube videos. 2. It applies beautifully with a kabuki brush (like No. 110)! Don't be greedy with the amount. Roll the brush, pat gently, control the amount, and repeat to build coverage for a pretty finish. 3. Applying translucent powder before this product seems to work even better. Conclusion: Highly recommended. Go buy it! This review is from someone in their early 20s. It's so good! Korea may be known for cushions, but it's time to open your eyes to powder foundations! There are hardly any downsides, just hope they don't discontinue it. The price point might be a bit high? When cleansing, using a foam or gel type cleanser once was sufficient.
