I have thick skin that doesn't easily develop blemishes, but my jawline tends to be drier than other areas. - Product texture/color: It's a pump-type product that dispenses a transparent, brown essence-like liquid. It's thinner than a snail mucin texture but has a slight viscosity, so it's not quite watery. I've used it both as an exfoliating toner and by patting it in with my hands. While using a cotton pad isn't bad, I preferred applying it directly with my hands. - Scent: I was worried about the smell due to the fermented ginseng ingredient, but there's no herbal scent, and the product's own fragrance isn't overpowering. - What I liked: I usually prefer lightweight products and used to rely on an exfoliating toner followed by an essence to combat deep dryness. However, this toner alone effectively addressed my skin's deep hydration needs. It's not heavy or slippery, absorbs quickly, and leaves my skin feeling fresh. It's like it perfectly preps my skin for the next steps in my skincare routine. I'd recommend this to anyone struggling with deep dryness and looking for a product to tackle it in the first step of their skincare routine. When I used it on slightly sensitive skin after exfoliating, I experienced a tingling sensation and some itchiness around my jaw area. Those with sensitive skin might want to patch test carefully, as some ingredients may not agree with everyone. I found great synergy when using this with the serum and cream samples that came with it. Despite the serum and cream having richer textures, I thought they might not absorb well. However, the toner acted as a booster, allowing time for the cream to absorb. When I patted it in, my skin felt incredibly plump (though it did feel a bit rich, which is unavoidable). This skincare routine prevented my makeup from pilling and helped it apply smoothly. As I entered my late 20s, I started paying more attention to creams, which led me to use heavier products. My previous toner would sometimes cause slight pilling even when I focused on absorption at the end. But when I used this skin booster, there was no pilling when I applied makeup. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMar 29, 2023
As someone with combination skin - oily T-zone and butterfly zone, but dry elsewhere - I found this product kept my skin hydrated for a long time. I loved that it contains plant-derived exosomes and other highly nourishing ingredients. Both the texture and the formulation really impressed me. I wonder if it was too rich for my skin... It didn't seem to suit me well. By the third day of use, I started experiencing itching on the thinner areas of my skin like around the eyes and under the chin, which led to an allergic reaction, forcing me to stop using it. The thicker skin on my cheeks was fine though. I have super sensitive skin, so if you have normal skin, you might be able to use this generously. It's such a shame it didn't work for me - I'm really disappointed.
