While not as moisturizing as chemical sunscreens, its texture falls somewhere between a chemical sunscreen and a matte mineral one. The sun protection kicks in immediately upon application, making it perfect for dry-skinned folks rushing to work in the morning. It's gentle on the skin and doesn't cause blemishes. Thanks to its hydrating properties, I didn't experience any issues with dead skin cells.
ConsI didn't have any major complaints about this product. The only slight drawback was the shorter expiration date, as I bought it during a sale. Other than that, no issues to report.
TipThis sunscreen seems to strike a nice balance between protection and hydration, which can be tricky to find in mineral formulations. It's especially suitable for those with dry or sensitive skin who need a quick, effective morning routine. The fact that it doesn't cause irritation or blemishes is a big plus, as many sunscreens can be problematic for sensitive skin types. The hydrating properties also help prevent the flaking of dead skin cells, which is often an issue with mineral sunscreens. Overall, it sounds like a solid choice for daily sun protection, particularly for those with drier skin types or those looking for a gentle, non-irritating option.

My skin has all sorts of issues - dryness from aging, oily T-zone, reactions to cosmetics, and sensitivity around the eyes post-LASIK surgery. Finding a suitable sunscreen has been challenging, but this product is flawless. Even in summer, when mineral sunscreens can feel tight on the skin, this one feels comfortable, probably due to its cica and calming ingredients. While it's not as moisturizing as chemical sunscreens, it's the best mineral option I've found. The white cast is minimal for a mineral sunscreen. Unlike some mineral sunscreens that can sting the eyes, this one doesn't - I can even apply it generously under my eyes without issues.
ConsNo real drawbacks. It's as good as a mineral sunscreen can get. There's some dryness, of course, but it's minimal. Just avoid mineral sunscreens altogether in very dry seasons.
TipBeing a mineral sunscreen, it can cause slight pilling with makeup. Using an air puff to apply helps minimize this issue. For late fall and winter when skin is drier, opt for a chemical sunscreen or a hybrid formula instead.

I usually have a hard time with sunscreens as they tend to irritate my skin, but this one has never caused any blemishes. The texture is like whipped cream, making it easy to apply smoothly. I use it all year round, except for the peak of summer.
ConsIt's not completely oil-free, so it can be a bit tricky to use during the height of summer.

There's some white cast initially, but it fades over time.
ConsThe white cast is quite noticeable at first, and the texture is thick, which my husband doesn't like.

ConsIt leaves a white cast and tends to settle into fine lines like eyelid creases. There's a bit of pilling, which makes me hesitant to use it under makeup. I guess that's the trade-off with mineral sunscreens.

For sensitive skin like mine, products with pore-clogging ingredients often cause blemishes, but this one doesn't have any of those issues. It's great! Plus, it has a subtle brightening effect that's definitely an improvement over a completely bare face.
ConsIf you don't have a solid skincare routine as a base, there's a chance it might emphasize dead skin cells.

ConsI found the absorption wasn't great, possibly because it didn't mesh well with my other skincare products

ConsAs is typical with sunscreens, those with dry skin might feel some dryness after applying it. As someone with dry skin, I did experience some dryness after using this product.
TipTo combat dryness, make sure to moisturize well during your skincare routine before applying the sunscreen. After application, you can also use a balm or facial mist to help alleviate any dry feeling.

It's also gentle on the skin.
ConsIt would be nice if there was one more mineral sunscreen ingredient, but other than that, I have no complaints.

Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't leave a noticeable white cast. The texture isn't thick, so it applies smoothly and absorbs well.
ConsAs expected with mineral sunscreens, there's a slight dryness after application. However, it's free from harmful ingredients, so I'm satisfied overall.
TipI noticed it adheres better when applied with a puff. To combat the dryness, I mixed it with jojoba oil before application, which helped balance the oil and moisture.
