It makes my hair a bit rough, but that's far better than having scalp blemishes or excess oil caused by too many oil ingredients.

As someone with super sensitive oily scalp, I've discovered after extensive testing that disodium laureth sulfosuccinate can trigger hair loss, yet it's in most shampoos. Surprisingly, regular sulfates are fine for me. Menthol also causes shedding, so I've been using this product almost exclusively for over a year. I alternate it with Head & Shoulders.
