  Pros

  I loved the affordable price, gentle ingredients, lightweight formula, and almost fragrance-free nature

  Cons

  After applying this, I got a couple of blemishes around my mouth. I can't be sure if it was because of the essence, so I'm still using it... The blemishes did go away, but just to be safe, I probably won't repurchase it

  Pros

  Recently, I noticed that when I apply toner followed by ampoule, they don't blend well and seem to work separately. So I decided to add an essence in between and purchased this product. As a vegan product with an incredibly affordable price and excellent ingredients, I didn't hesitate to try it despite being from Daiso. After hydrating with toner pads, I apply a thin layer of this essence twice, and it helps the subsequent skincare steps absorb beautifully, leaving me completely satisfied. The lightweight and hydrating texture makes it suitable as a toner substitute for those without extremely dry skin. At first, I noticed a subtle scent and upon closer inspection, realized it had a pleasant carrot fragrance. I've only tried the pads and essence from this line so far, but they're much gentler and more hydrating than expected, so I'm planning to purchase the ampoule and cream as well.

  There's absolutely nothing negative to say! I just hope it doesn't get discontinued and remains available at Daiso for a long time at such an affordable price.

  I was looking for an affordable toner at Daiso and decided to give it a try. I was hesitant at first due to the low price, but after hearing positive reviews from YouTubers, I got curious and bought the toner, ampoule, and cream. The toner has a cream-essence-like texture. Its color is similar to the Laneige Cream Skin, but it feels lighter when applied, which I actually prefer. Despite having sensitive skin, I haven't experienced any blemishes while using it, so I'm planning to repurchase after finishing this bottle. As someone who likes to use skincare products generously, the price point is definitely the biggest draw. Isn't the affordability its best feature?

  While I'm not particularly sensitive to scents, if I had to describe the smell, I'd say it's somewhat grassy or like freshly cut lawn. It's not overpowering or unpleasant, which makes it perfect for layering multiple applications of toner.

  Tip

  I have combination dehydrated skin, so I tend to feel quite dry in winter. I enjoy the feeling of hydration, so I often layer my toner multiple times. This toner really shines when applied in layers. It doesn't feel heavy or suffocating, which is why I'm so satisfied with it. In hopes that many people can benefit from this affordable yet effective product, I'm sharing an unedited photo of my bare face. Despite having acne-prone and folliculitis-prone sensitive skin, this product worked wonders for me. I hope it stays available!
