Even though I'm not the best at taking photos, the actual product is amazing. If you just look at the product photos online, you might not want to buy it. But the shine under the department store lighting is truly artistic. The case is also a work of art. This is my fourth time purchasing the Maximizer. I always use the products I buy to the very end. They say it's packed with cherry oil. That's probably why there's minimal stickiness (though some stickiness is inevitable given the formula) and no yogurt-like effect even after applying it over and over. When I first bought it, the single-color version was quite sticky, but the formula seems to have improved over time. When I rub it onto my fingers, there's no sticky residue left behind - it just disappears into my skin. Fascinating. I even rubbed it onto my arm to take swatch photos, and I didn't need to wipe it off with a tissue. At first, there's a slight sting, like using mint toothpaste. But among plumping products, this one is relatively painless. Of course, individual experiences may vary, but the irritation goes away in about 30 minutes. It's packed with all kinds of pearls, and as the name suggests, it has a strong lavender hue. The color payoff is almost non-existent, it's mostly just the pearls. But it doesn't look cyber-ish when applied to the lips. It's just a shame that the photos don't do it justice.
