This one, however, has no irritation at all and doesn't itch, which is great! Plus, it brightens my skin just the right amount, so I strongly recommend it!
ConsThere is a slight feeling of resistance and a bit of stickiness when applying it.

It gives a natural and pretty tone-up effect.
ConsMy skin is dry, so I apply a thick layer of moisturizer in the winter, but it doesn't absorb well and just sits on top of my skin.

It seems to be a hybrid formula. The coverage and soothing effects were good, and the application was smooth. The natural tone-up and slightly luminous finish make the skin look healthy.
ConsThe luminous finish gives a slightly oily feel. When I applied other products on top, it started to pill and gathered in the fine lines over time.

ConsWhen I apply it and wipe my face, the product pills up. After some time, my face starts to itch. The longevity is not good.

When I first received the sample, I was a bit skeptical because it said it would help with redness, but omg lol it's amazing!! Even without foundation, my skin looks otherworldly^^ And when I apply it, my skin looks so good^^ It's not just me who thinks so, others have told me too^^ It's not an awkward tone-up, but a natural one with a smooth glow. There are no skin troubles, and the glow fades gently, but lol the sunscreen is what you have to reapply lol reapply and reapply lol It's fine in the winter, but in the summer, having to reapply is such a hassle lol. Plus, in the summer, my sweat glands go crazy ㅠㅠ In the summer, I just use toner pads for my whole skincare routine lol and then straight to sunscreen lol (I have combination-dry skin ㅠㅠ this is how I'm living). If the sunscreen gets drying, I won't use it again, but this one has no dryness, blocks UV rays, and even helps with redness lol. Of course, it doesn't cover redness as well as foundation lol, but it gives a natural redness-reducing effect^^ That looks even prettier in my opinion^^ Skincare is really case-by-case, but for me, this is a holy grail product after the Aqua Gel sunscreen^^ I've settled on this tone-up cream, so I guess I'll have to stop being a nomad^^
ConsIs it because I'm all thumbs? ㅠㅠ This product is good on its own, but when I try to layer foundation or cushion on top, it feels a bit off ㅠㅠ So I just use this product and finish with powder.
TipYou just have to try it out^^ You'll know once you try it^^

ConsThe main drawbacks are that for oily and sensitive skin types, it can cause excess oil production in less than an hour during the summer. The makeup tends to slip and there are fingerprint marks left after application. The product does not absorb well into the skin and the excess oil just keeps circulating, even if you try to pat it in with your palms. It's almost better to just remove it. There is also a slight whitening or chalky effect that appears immediately after application, and this persists even as the excess oil continues to float on the surface.
TipThis product may be better suited for dry or dehydrated skin types. However, it can also emphasize flaky or uneven texture on the skin.

In my early 20s, I used to wear foundation and makeup, but after my entire face became inflamed, I've just been wearing tone-up sunscreen. I used to use the Dr.G Brightening Up Sunscreen, but after it was renewed, I tried it and my face became flushed and inflamed, so I've been a sunscreen nomad ever since. Since then, I've tried every tone-up sunscreen out there, but they've all been too drying, cakey, oily, or irritating to my eyes, with exaggerated pores, so I couldn't find a sunscreen I liked. But then I saw that Esthe.ra, the brand I use for my basic skincare, had come out with a tone-up sunscreen, so I immediately ordered it and was able to try it, and the conclusion is that it didn't get too drying, which I really liked. It's one of the best tone-up sunscreens I've tried. The thing I liked most is that the sunscreen-specific scent isn't too strong.
ConsI have severe acne, so I've been using acne ointments and spot treatments, which have made my skin sensitive and flaky. Because of that, it tends to get a bit cakey when I apply it. It doesn't apply very lightly either, it applies heavily, so the absorption isn't immediate, making it difficult to control. And I tend to have some eye irritation, but even sunscreens that other people say don't irritate the eyes, always irritate mine.
TipApplying it thinly and adding more layers seems to make it less cakey.

And when I apply sunscreen, I sometimes feel a stinging sensation, but with this product, it felt like I was just applying lotion - very comfortable. Fragrance ❤️ The fragrance is barely noticeable. This is great for those sensitive to fragrance or who don't like fragrance mixing. Skin Perfecting ❤️ The formula is a coral-tinted lotion, and it provides better skin perfecting effects than tone-up. It makes my skin look naturally radiant and clear, and it can cover pores to some degree. Adherence ❤️ When I apply the same amount twice on the back of my hand and pat it in, even though there is some oiliness, it adheres well to the skin without slipping. The adherence is good, and I don't feel any slipping. Texture ❤️ The narrow opening makes it easy to control the amount, and the thin tube is convenient to carry around.
ConsTone-up 🥲 The skin perfecting effect is good, but I'm disappointed that I don't see any tone-up. However, this wouldn't be a dealbreaker for me. I think people with slightly darker skin tones could still achieve a natural tone-up with this product. Flakiness 🥲 If there is unremoved dead skin or a bit of sebum, a powdery residue can form. But it's not something that I'm overly concerned about.
TipFor the sunscreen, it's best to apply it in thin, multiple layers for better adherence!

I really like both of them, so I tend to compare them a lot to the Estara product. Texture: It has a light pink, medium viscosity texture. It's just the right lotion-like consistency, not too watery or thick. Absorption: The application is smooth, but the absorption feels a bit slow. I felt a slightly oily sensation while applying, but fortunately it absorbed without any stickiness after application. However, there was a thin oily film left behind, which I didn't like. So I patted it in thoroughly to help it absorb better. Tone-up: The Innisfree Cica product has a slight tone-up effect, so my complexion brightens immediately when I use it for going out. But I didn't notice any tone-up effect from this Estara product. It gives a subtle, pinkish glow, as described in the promotional copy, but not enough to cover redness. Redness Soothing: It would be too much to expect redness soothing from a sun cream, right? I believed the Estara brand could do it, but I didn't notice any significant effects. However, the ingredients are good, it lasts well, and it's not difficult to cleanse off.
ConsThe oiliness is the most disappointing part. I tend to avoid that sunscreen-like oily film, but this product was exactly that. With my skin type, such formulas usually clog my pores and cause breakouts right away. Sure enough, I got some bumps on the third day of use. I think this would be difficult for oily-skinned people or to use in very hot summers. The product description about color-correcting and soothing redness made me think this was the perfect product for me... but it fell short. There was also a slight 'peeling' sensation after use, which I experienced for the first time while applying sunscreen.
TipI think this would be effective for people with good, fair skin who have a slight redness.
