It seems to irritate my skin a bit, so I think gommage-type exfoliators suit me better.

I've always used gommage-type exfoliators, so this was my first time trying a water-based peeling product. When you first apply it, there's a tingling sensation that's supposedly normal. If you're sensitive to skincare that causes a tingling feeling, be careful with this one. After use, my skin feels noticeably softer. I love that the timing works out perfectly - I use it while cleansing, brush my teeth, then wipe my face again.

For best results, try using a clay or sheet mask after showering post-treatment - it's a winning combination!

However, I wouldn't recommend this for those with sensitive skin. Before using, it's crucial to research and understand a few precautions. For example, you need to be extra diligent with moisturizing and sun protection. Also, a slight tingling sensation when first applied is normal. Make sure to strictly follow the recommended application time.

If you're not familiar with acid peeling products, you might find this a bit daunting at first. As someone who regularly uses a weekly BHA 2% + AHA 30% treatment, I found this product quite manageable. When used correctly, these active ingredients can work wonders for your skin - it's hard to find anything else that matches their effectiveness. It's especially great for moisturizing and exfoliating during the dry winter months. While I'm not sure about the exact acid concentrations, it felt milder than my usual products. I think even those with dry skin could use this for gentle exfoliation without worrying about dryness.

This is a peeling product that you apply to a dry face first, then wash off after about 10 minutes. The texture is similar to a watery serum that absorbs instantly when patted in. It's easy to apply just where you want it on your face. After washing it off, you can feel the dead skin cells and sebum being cleared away. 

As a side note, I'd say this is a must-have for oily skin types like mine, and I'd even recommend it for dry skin too. Regular exfoliation is key to preventing uneven skin tone, rough texture, and those pesky little bumps that can pop up all over when dead skin cells accumulate.

- While scrubs with granules can be a hassle, they give an immediate soft and smooth skin feel. This product didn't provide as dramatic a change as I expected. Maybe it's because I regularly exfoliate, but if you're looking for more noticeable results, you might find this a bit disappointing.

- I'm not sure about the science behind the product, but I don't quite understand why we need to wash it off. There's no real difference after rinsing, and it feels like it's been well absorbed like a skincare product. The rinsing step seems a bit odd to me.

- Although I have sensitive skin and didn't feel much irritation, those with very sensitive skin should probably test it on areas like the nose before applying it all over the face.

- Overall, it's not bad, but I'm not sure if it has any outstanding features or charm, which is a bit disappointing.
