Even though the amount of psyllium husk dietary fiber per packet is quite generous, I was pleasantly surprised to find it dissolves well in cold water! This made it so much easier to mix and drink. I believe the more convenient a supplement is to take, the more likely we are to stick with it consistently. So this aspect really satisfied me! Admiles recommends taking their psyllium husk fiber with water 30 minutes before meals. Since I usually skip breakfast, I take mine before lunch and dinner. The most important thing to remember is to use cold water, not hot, and to drink it quickly after mixing. If left too long, it can expand into a gel-like consistency which might be unpleasant to drink. So I always consume it right after mixing. The flavor is supposed to be lemon-lime, but to me it tastes more like lemon. It's a pleasant flavor that makes it easy to take regularly, which is great since it can help promote smooth bowel movements! However, I didn't notice much of an effect, and the gel-like expansion was a bit off-putting. - pi**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 18, 2023
I bought 5 bottles in January and took them almost daily until I finished them recently. There's definitely a noticeable difference between when I take them and when I don't. I'm satisfied as the psyllium husk seems to have a positive effect on my digestive health. The price is a bit high, but I noticed that all products with high psyllium husk content are expensive. Since the higher content means better quality, I guess we have to accept the cost.
