While there are propolis products you can eat directly, I found them a bit tricky to manage and somewhat inconvenient to consume. I was surprisingly put off by them, so I opted for these capsules as an alternative. The capsules still have that distinctive propolis scent, but they're much easier to take than eating it directly. With this product, you're supposed to take two capsules a day, anytime that suits you. I try to take them at roughly the same time each day for consistency. To be honest, since there's no measurable way to gauge its effectiveness, it's hard to say definitively how well it works. But in my experience, it's not bad at all. I didn't notice much while I was taking them regularly, but when I stopped for a while out of laziness, I felt more easily tired and seemed to catch colds more often. Maybe it was just in my head, but still! I feel like I have more energy when I'm taking them compared to when I'm not, so I plan to continue using them consistently in the future.
ConsWell, if I had to pick something, it would be the smell. The distinctive odor can be hard to bear sometimes.
TipIt's worth noting that probiotics and propolis don't mix well. That's why it's recommended to avoid taking propolis after consuming probiotics. Personally, I take my probiotics first thing in the morning when I wake up, and then I take the propolis later in the afternoon, sometime after lunch. Apparently, propolis can inhibit the effects of probiotics or something along those lines. Anyway, they're said to be incompatible, so if you're taking probiotics, keep this in mind.
