  I've seen great results for strengthening the skin barrier. My skin isn't extremely oily, but it's on the oilier side with a compromised barrier, making it sensitive. During seasonal changes and winter when my skin tends to act up and become sensitive, I just apply this before bed. The next morning, my skin has a healthy glow and looks in much better condition.

  Cons

  I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily skin and no specific skin concerns. Even for those with skin issues, it might not suit everyone. I'd avoid using it on the T-zone as it could potentially clog pores! I used it well because it was cheap at the military store, but at full price, I'm not so sure... There are many options out there, so it's hard to say. I'll have to stock up when I go for reserve forces training.

  As someone with combination dehydrated skin currently taking medication that dries out my skin, I found this product quite nice. It absorbs well, doesn't cause deep dryness, and makes my skin feel plump when applied. I experienced no itching, and it even seemed to reduce some redness.

  Cons

  It doesn't seem to absorb well. I had to press it into my skin firmly with my hands. It's quite rich, leaving my face feeling very oily after application - more than just a protective layer. It also felt like it was clogging my pores somewhat, and I noticed an increase in small blemishes.

  Skin type: Acne-prone + Combination dehydrated skin Even if you have oily skin, winter can make it super dry, so a moisturizer is a must-have. I used to use a similar product from another brand, but when I suddenly started getting a lot of blemishes, I switched to this one! First off, it doesn't cause any breakouts and the hydration is top-notch. It absorbs well and has no scent, making it perfect for daily use. However, if you have oily skin, I recommend applying just the right amount, as using too much can make your skin feel rich.

  Cons

  It's a bit disappointing that it contains pore-clogging ingredients. That's why I only apply it in the morning before makeup, and at night I use a separate moisturizer that can help with blemishes! Another downside is the price... So I usually buy it when it's on sale. Sometimes Hwahae or Olive Young have deals where you can get two for more than half off. It's on the pricier side, but I think it'll last a long time.

  Tip

  Since it can feel a bit rich, those with oily skin should apply only a small amount. That's why in the morning, I keep it light by just applying serum and this product. If you have dry skin, I think you'll really feel the hydrating effects of this product.

  The hydration power is truly outstanding. Dr.G always satisfies me with its moisturizing ability. I apply it before makeup, and it works wonderfully as a base. It doesn't cause itching or blemishes. It's currently my favorite cream!

  I have combination and sensitive skin (dry on the cheeks). When I use products that don't suit me, I experience a burning sensation and blemish reactions. First off, I had no blemishes or skin reactions after applying this product. It has a rich, creamy texture. Some might find it a bit heavy, but it's fine if you adjust the amount. It addresses deep dryness well. I couldn't properly assess the fragrance due to a cold. It's great that I can use this with my young nieces and nephews when they visit. While I have sensitive skin, theirs is even more delicate. I usually prepare Atobarrier products from Aestura for the kids, but this product worked just as well for their skin when used as a substitute.

  It contains pore-clogging ingredients. As my pores are gradually enlarging, I found these ingredients concerning. The most disappointing thing is that ever since I started using the Barrier D Emulsion, I've been hoping for a body emulsion from the same line, but it still hasn't been released. Come on, are you playing hard to get with your excellent product quality?! Without a body product, it's not cost-effective to slather this all over. I've tried using the Barrier D Emulsion as a body moisturizer, but it ran out too quickly to be sustainable. Yet I can't just apply tiny amounts to my parched skin either. I hope they realize there are consumers who keep wanting this.

  Tip

  What more can I say? Using this on your body will make dry skin a thing of the past. I recommend this for people who experience flaking skin even on the day they bathe.

  Here's my review after using it as night care for two weeks: Application: It's a white cream with a slightly thick consistency. Despite its texture, it doesn't feel sticky when applied. It leaves a pleasantly moisturized finish, which I really liked. If you let it absorb for a while before sleeping, it doesn't transfer much to your bedding - that's a plus! Packaging: I can't praise the packaging enough! The tube is sturdy and super convenient to use. It's also hygienic since there's no worry about air exposure. Effects: As someone with super sensitive skin, I found this very comfortable to use. My skin was dry, itchy, and flaky due to the changing seasons, but after using this, the itchiness disappeared. When I look at my skin the morning after application, I can visibly see it becoming more resilient.

  As with most hydrating products, there's a concern about clogging pores, so I avoided using it on my nose.
