It was moisturizing and absorbed well. I also noticed it tightened my pores, so I saw good results. It was too runny, like water, which made it difficult to use. I applied it starting from my forehead and spread it all over my face. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 21, 2023
I bought this product after seeing it advertised by a YouTuber I often watch. They said it was good for brightening and wrinkles, so I decided to give it a try! While I'm not usually a fan of fragranced products, I actually like the rose scent in this one. I can't say I've noticed significant improvements in brightening or wrinkle reduction, but it does keep my skin hydrated. Since I started using this product, it seems like my makeup doesn't flake as much? However, since it contains a lot of vitamin C, and other vitamin-rich products advise against morning use, I only apply this as part of my night care routine. After using it for about 2-3 months, I think it's a pretty good product! Compared to my previous serum, this one is really watery. When I first applied it to my face, it just ran down my skin, which was quite surprising! But now I've gotten used to it and can apply it without dripping. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinApr 28, 2023
I was looking to try a new ampoule when the Collagen Tangle Ampoule appeared on The Hwahae Testers, so I applied and gave it a try. Note: I've consistently used popular Hwahae essences like B-plane, Dajayeon Houttuynia Cordata, and SNature. My recent skin concern is that as I'm getting older, I'm starting to worry about pores and wrinkles. - Texture: Unlike the runny essences/serums I've used before, this Collagen VC Tangle Ampoule feels like a light oil mixed into a thin, concentrated toner. After shaking to mix the oil and liquid layers, it drips smoothly from the dropper. It's probably better to apply directly to your face rather than your hands. - Application: It leaves a light, slippery finish on the skin, forming an oil barrier that seems to maintain hydration. I thought I'd only use it at night due to the oil, but when used in the morning before makeup, it gives a slight glow, like a dewy look. After use, it definitely feels like it's tightening the pores and makes my skin look healthier. - Scent: It has a rose fragrance. I'm not a huge fan of floral scents, but it's not overpowering, so it's fine. If you love rose scents, you'll probably adore this! - Usage period: I've been using it for about a week since receiving it, and I feel like my pores and skin texture have slightly improved. I'll need to use it longer to see more results. - Skin type: Due to its oily finish, those with very oily skin might not like it, but it could be great for those with dry skin that produces oil. The oil content might make it a bit heavy for summer use, but it should be perfect for spring, fall, and winter! I'd recommend it for people in their 30s. It might be too rich for those in their 20s, and the concentration might be a bit low for those in their 40s seeking intense nourishment. It's ideal for those in their 30s concerned about aging skin! - Packaging: The dropper's rubber part is soft and squishy, making it easy to use and draw up the product. The dropper is made of rubber and plastic, while the bottle is glass. The pink color of the oil layer reminds me of grapefruit and looks pretty. - Application: It's not a major inconvenience, but because it's liquid, it drips quickly, so you need to spread it fast. But this is just due to the formula, not really a drawback. (The flowing oil might give a lighter feel) - Blemishes: I didn't experience any blemishes during the week I used it. - Not recommended for: Those who get irritation from rose fragrance or dislike strong scents. - Personally, if they're emphasizing the vitamin content, I think a refreshing grapefruit scent would be nice, given the product's color. But I suppose that's not possible if rose is a key ingredient. I don't have any specific tips, but here's my current spring skincare routine after cleansing: Thermal water mist > Oil-infused mist (evening only) > Essence/Serum/Ampoule > Light emulsion (morning) or Moisturizing cream (evening) or Sleeping pack + Eye cream (on bad skin days) - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 28, 2023
The enticing claim that results are visible in just 2 weeks caught my attention! I'm pleasantly surprised and satisfied that it seems to be true! While I'm not usually a fan of oils (except for cleansing oils), this one is unique. It's composed of an essence layer and a vitamin-infused oil layer that need to be well-mixed before use. After giving it a good shake and applying it, wow! The hydration is fantastic! Despite its thin consistency, even when mixed with oil, it absorbs well. As the weather gets warmer, I might be able to skip my usual cream after using this. Hmm... the thin consistency is a bit disappointing. You need to be very careful when applying it to your skin or use your hands to avoid it dripping. For best results, follow up with a light layer of moisturizer after using this ampoule. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 28, 2023
✔️Texture I expected a thicker consistency for a collagen ampoule, but it's surprisingly runny and drips when applied to the face. The dropper applicator keeps it hygienic, but the thin texture makes it challenging to use. ✔️Application It glides on smoothly due to the oil content, though those with oily skin might find it a bit rich. The first day, I applied too much and it felt heavy. Even with my combination skin, I experienced some blemishes. From the second day, I only patted on a light layer. It's not sticky, and it leaves your face with a lovely glow~ It might be better suited for winter or seasonal transitions rather than summer. ✔️Sensitivity I felt a slight tingling sensation on the first application. The irritation lessened from the second day onward. ✔️Hydration The best part is that it eliminates deep dryness. It would be fantastic for those with dry skin~ ✔️Scent It might be polarizing, but I enjoyed the rose fragrance~ ✔️Ingredients While I like the scent, I'm a bit disappointed it contains added fragrances. I wish they had been more mindful of the 20 ingredients to watch out for. ✔️The texture is too runny, making it difficult to apply with the dropper without it dripping down your face. ✔️Those with combination or oily skin might find it too rich and potentially cause blemishes. ✔️It's disappointing that it contains some of the 20 ingredients to be cautious about. The essence and oil layers are separated, so make sure to shake well before use! Depending on your skin type, it's better to apply a light layer rather than using too much~ - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 28, 2023
First off, it looks beautiful! Maybe it's because the oil layer has a lovely peach color. When you shake it, it blends well, so it's not cumbersome to use. Compared to other ampoules, this one seems to have a more substantial oil layer, which I definitely prefer for moisturizing over typical hydrating ampoules. I love how it leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I've been concerned about neck wrinkles, so I've been using it on my neck too! There's no significant difference yet, so I won't attach photos... If the Hwahae Testers period was a bit longer, I could have made a more definitive comparison. Anyway, when I apply this ampoule and then layer a hydrating cream on top, it's the perfect recipe for glowing skin! It has a rose scent, but it's too strong... When I first applied it, there was a slight tingling sensation. It's quite runny, so when you put it on your face, it drips down quickly - you need to apply it fast. I've heard it's better to use this at night rather than during the day because it contains vitamin C. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 28, 2023
For an ampoule, I was really pleased with how gentle and lightweight it felt on application! It has a watery, serum-like texture that I think would be perfect for those hot summer days. I'd especially recommend this to those with super sensitive skin. The downside is that it's so watery it can run off easily. It feels as thin as a serum, so I often found myself using twice as much as I normally would. It doesn't provide quite enough hydration, so if you have dry skin, I'd suggest using a bit more. After about a month of use, I realized it wasn't agreeing with my skin. There was a slight burning sensation and some tingling for a few minutes after application. I ignored it since it would go away, but my blemishes got worse... If you have sensitive skin, it's probably best to avoid ampoules with active ingredients! If you suddenly feel a burning or tingling sensation, rinse it off with water immediately and look for a different ampoule! To prevent it from dripping, try applying it to your forehead and sides of your nose, then spreading it out from there. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 27, 2023
After receiving the collagen VC ampoule, I was worried that the oil might irritate my skin and cause blemishes, but after using it for a week, I found it to be a product with an excellent oil and moisture balance. It didn't cause any blemishes, and I thought it was a great ampoule for this dry weather. After washing my face, I usually struggle with deep dryness, but this ampoule managed it well. As shown in the photo, you can see the collagen and vitamin ingredients with the naked eye when applied to your hand, and it can manage both oil and hydration at once. Since the ampoule is completely liquid, it absorbs very well. I've heard that with consistent use, it can provide lifting effects and reduce pores, so I plan to use it regularly. I'm also excited about its skin brightening effects. 1. Fragrance: It has a strong rose scent, which might be polarizing. I personally don't like rose scents, so I found the fragrance disappointing while applying it. 2. Texture: The texture itself is not thick but rather liquid, so it tends to run down. You need to tilt your face when applying it. If you're used to ampoules with a thicker consistency, this might be surprising. People who prefer light and non-sticky textures might find it easier to use. It's also good to apply another layer before makeup for a fresh and hydrated base, and it works well as a spot treatment when applied with a cotton pad. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinApr 27, 2023
It gives a lovely pink glow, making you look beautiful. The texture is light and easy to apply. There's a subtle, pleasant fragrance of roses and flowers. It goes on smoothly, leaving a fresh feeling. It tends to run a bit. Perhaps due to the collagen, there's a slight oily feel. However, after a short while, it absorbs into the skin and feels fine. Remember to shake well before use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 27, 2023
The color itself has a lovely spring vibe. As shown in the photo, you need to shake it vigorously until it's completely mixed before use. The scent is rose-like, which might be a hit or miss for some. I personally prefer unscented products, but this fragrance isn't overwhelming. The texture is quite fluid, so it runs down your face when you apply it. However, if you quickly massage it in, it absorbs well, leaving your skin looking hydrated. Being dry-skinned, I feel some deep dryness after a while. But if I follow up with a cream right after using the ampoule, there's no tightness, and the moisturized feeling lasts longer. Even when I wake up in the morning, I can tell my skin condition has improved. It's been just over a week since I started using it, and my complexion has noticeably brightened. It seems like my blemishes have faded a bit too. I'm excited to see how effective it will be in the long run. At first, there was a slight tingling, tickling sensation. Fortunately, it wasn't uncomfortable enough to be a problem, and after using it for a few days, it's fine now. The texture is a bit runny, so I'm worried it might drip down.
