It also has a slight brightening effect, making it great to use before makeup. Despite being a rich cream, it's not thick or heavy, spreads thinly, and leaves almost no white cast.

  It's not very hydrating, so if you have deep dryness, you'll need to layer a good moisturizer underneath.
