So, I decided to try something new and gave the Lillybyred Sun Cream a shot! First off, the texture is smooth and applies easily, similar to Pure in that it feels like a hydrating sun cream! However, comparing the two, I think Pure had a more intense hydrating feel, while Lillybyred feels deeply moisturizing when applied but then seems to absorb quickly, leaving a second-skin finish. In terms of performance, I haven't experienced any blemishes or dryness! I love that it's not overly rich, so it absorbs completely into the skin!! There's no eye irritation either. With no white cast, I think this is a sun cream I'll be able to use well going forward!
ConsThere's just one downside... the scent is really not great. It has a glue-like smell that's fine once it's on, but while applying it's really unpleasant. I switched from my previous sun cream because of its strong smell, but this one's fragrance is problematic too...

However, this product caused absolutely no irritation. I used it before, during, and after my menstrual cycle, and it absorbed well without pilling under foundation. Even though I usually get a slight tan with other sunscreens, this one prevented that completely. The texture is like a slightly rich moisturizer, but it doesn't leave a white cast. Most importantly for me, it didn't sting my eyes. As a sunscreen nomad, I think this is unbeatable. The ingredients, packaging, and price are all excellent.
ConsWhile the lack of artificial fragrance is good for reducing irritation, I personally didn't like its natural scent. As someone with oily skin, I found it a bit too rich to wear alone when going out, so powder is a must for me.

Only my T-zone is slightly oily, the rest is extremely dry... Super sensitive skin, prone to irritation ❗️I dislike heavy sunscreens! I dislike drying sunscreens! I prefer watery, hydrating formulas over creamy sunscreens❗️ ✔️Texture It's not a runny formula, it holds its shape when squeezed out!! ✔️Application It spreads smoothly like an emulsion and applies with a hydrating feel ✔️Experience After applying and gently patting, it instantly adheres to the skin and doesn't feel dry, which I'm satisfied with!! It doesn't pill when applying makeup and acts like a base, helping foundation adhere well to the skin As someone who breaks out when using oily sunscreens due to dry skin, I prefer this lighter formula! It creates an excellent base for makeup This hydrating, moisturizing sunscreen is great for dry skin types!! A godsend for those who can't stand the drying effect of white cast sunscreens.. No eye irritation❌ I'm not usually sensitive to eye irritation, so I can't really tell.. As expected, I don't notice any eye irritation!! No acne❌ As someone who easily gets pimples from poorly chosen sunscreens, this one is fine!
ConsThe scent is... really unpleasant.... As soon as you apply it, there's a strong alcohol-like smell that spreads, making it feel like you're applying a chemical product.. While it doesn't bother me after application, the intense fragrance when first applying is quite off-putting for me...😞

I'm thrilled to try this as part of The Hwahae Testers, as I had previously sampled it in-store and was planning to purchase it separately. The sleek silver packaging looks sophisticated and high-end. The lightweight white emulsion feels cool and refreshing on the skin. While it's not warming, it calms redness and adds a glow even when used alone with bare skin. It doesn't sting when applied around the eyes, and it spreads smoothly before quickly absorbing without leaving any white cast - just hydration. No stickiness, and it doesn't irritate even when applied to blemishes. This sunscreen feels more like applying a hydrating moisturizer. It seems to refine pores and skin texture, leaving the skin looking good with a matte finish and no excess oil. It's my favorite sun protection product I've tried. Even when applied generously, it doesn't feel heavy. We're still using heaters in the office due to the cold, but this product adds a hydrated glow without disturbing makeup when reapplied. I make sure to bring it with me when I go out. The Nine Seconds sunscreen doesn't transfer onto masks. It absorbs quickly without pilling even with multiple layers, adding a glow that isn't from excess oil. It doesn't cause makeup to slide off and seems to have long-lasting protection. It's gentle enough for sensitive skin.
ConsThe one downside to this sunscreen is the strong antiseptic scent when first applied, though it does fade after absorption.
TipReapplying throughout the day helps maintain long-lasting hydration.
