I have a 100% calamine cream that I purchased during a trip to the Maldives. When I mix it with this cream and apply it daily, I don't get any pimples. The calamine seems to be beneficial for regeneration and inflammation reduction, which is probably why it works well.

While it can be used like a cream, it has an oily feel, so when I use it daily, I tend to get a few pimples as I have an oily skin type.
