Pros
As a cool-toned individual seeking a radiant skin expression, the shade 17 Fair was absolutely delightful. Applying it in thin, multiple layers results in excellent longevity. Especially when using a toner pad + a lightweight cream for skincare, and then applying a setting spray, it stays intact all day long!! And due to the semi-matte formula, while other products tend to emphasize pores, this one adheres quite thinly without accentuating pores much. Applying it thinly!! results in excellent adherence. Overall, after trying over 20 different cushions, this provided the most beautiful skin expression for my combination/cool-toned/21+ skin tone.
Cons
The downside is the darkening ㅠㅠ Being 17 shade, it is very bright, but after about an hour, it becomes a bit darker, around 19-21 shade. However, using a setting spray or powder makes it much better!! On the days when I applied this product thickly, it became a bit fluffy and started to break down.
Tip
I highly recommend using a setting spray or powder!! For oily skin, the powder worked well even in the summer.

The color looks naturally pretty and the blending seems nice. The coverage is good, but you need to apply it in thin layers.

I didn't really like the combination with the puff. The puff was a bit stiff, and I prefer a softer, more blendable one, so I used a different puff!

This is a review after using up a whole bottle of the Banila Co cushion! First, the pros: 📍It adheres better than other cushions and applies thinly. 📍The color is brighter than the 17 shade of other cushions - it has no yellow undertones and has a radiant tone. 📍And the case is just so stylish..;; 📍It covers redness well, so it would be good for those with reddish skin. 📍The puff that comes with Banila Co is incredibly moisturizing and nice.

Pros
This is the best cushion I've tried so far. Although it's for dry skin, if you build a good base, the skin expression is super pretty and doesn't get cakey. From 3 hours after applying makeup, it really blends into the skin perfectly. The thinner you apply it, the prettier it looks. The color is also to my liking. The case is pretty and the magnetic feature is strangely addictive.
Cons
There's really no downside, but for dry skin, you do need to build a solid base before using it.

The coverage is really thin and I originally used shade 21 rose, but it was too dark, so I used shade 17 and it seems to look brighter and better.
Cons
My skin has been acting up lately, so the longevity seems a bit lacking. There's also a slight darkening effect... Inevitably, using a cushion instead of a foundation will have some tradeoffs in terms of longevity and creasing. I bought it after seeing rave reviews about its longevity, but I've only used it once so far, so I'll have to keep using it consistently to see.
Tip
You really need to have a solid skincare routine and apply it well. Since it's a matte cushion, that's just the nature of it.

🤍 The cushion of life!! I was worried that the color would be too bright since my skin tone is around #19, but when I applied it thinly, it blended perfectly with my skin tone and was just right. I used to only use glowy bases because of my skin's unevenness and flakiness, but since it's summer, I gave up on the glow and chose the famous and cute-cased Innisfree cushion among the semi-matte ones. The skin expression is beautiful, the wear is good, and it covers the pores around my nose well. I'm so happy to have found my holy grail cushion, and I'm going to stick with it regardless of the season!! Highly recommend it to all my fellow oily-skinned friends🤍
