The scent has a ginseng aroma, which may be divisive, but I personally found it quite nice. ㅎㅎ
The formula has a golden, oily texture that feels nourishing and immediately replenishing when applied. It does a great job of addressing dryness, maintaining moisture for a long time. It's like a protective veil for the skin, leaving a radiant glow.

The external part - First of all, it has no lid and is a product that is used by turning, so it was very convenient, and the grip that fits snugly in one hand was great.

 At first, I was unsure of how to open the lid, and almost broke it trying to pry it open from the top. But then I realized you have to twist the lid sideways, and the opening pops up. Be careful with that!

In the current cold weather, the product provides adequate hydration for standalone use, but I imagine it would be particularly suitable in more temperate spring and fall seasons.
As an intensive ampoule, I was able to skip the cream step and mix it with an oil product, and even without the cream, my skin had a nicely balanced, slightly dense and dewy condition the next morning. I'd recommend trying this product in combination with lightweight oil-based skincare as well!

- It has the characteristic herbal fragrance of Korean traditional cosmetics, which may be divisive. However, personally I found the scent to be slightly lighter than the previous Donginbi Ja-saeng Essence. For skincare products with strong fragrances, I tend not to use them with makeup, but this product's scent was not overwhelmingly bothersome.

- The capsule formulation gives it a thicker, more viscous feel compared to essences or serums. There is a slight granular texture when applied. While this type of formulation can potentially irritate the skin, this product smoothly disperses and absorbs without burdening the skin, which was a positive.
The previous Donginbi Ja-saeng Essence had a slightly transparent, refreshing texture, but this product is somewhere between a cream and an essence, with a more dense, plump feel. The combination of the granular texture provides a soft, protective layer on the skin.
These days, I prefer products that provide hydration and anti-aging benefits even during the day, and this anti-aging product did not feel overly heavy or oily. I was able to use it comfortably with makeup products, making it convenient for my morning and evening skincare routine.

This product is focused on strengthening the skin barrier and managing elasticity, and while it absorbs lightly, it's too lightweight, making it too drying. The formula is too light for use in the fall and winter.
Using this alone is too drying, and it needs to be used with other products in the line. And the price is too outrageous (80,000 won), and the ginseng scent is too strong for young 20-somethings, while the packaging is too targeted towards middle-aged consumers.

The lightweight texture that absorbed quickly without feeling sticky, and the deep ginseng aroma that was true to the Cheong Kwan Jang brand, were all great!
And the dispenser was so nice! When you turn the cap, the ampoule that comes out has a button that pops up, giving you the feeling that it's worth the price!

Those with dry skin might be able to use this year-round, and even those with oily skin could potentially use it in the summer, as long as they adjust the amount. This seems like a great product to use during the seasonal changes and in the winter.

Personally, I was satisfied using this product, so there's not really any major downside, but those sensitive to scents might find the fragrance irritating! It has a faint ginseng candy-like aroma.

Appropriate oil and moisture
As my skin is quite sensitive, even a little excess oil can cause bumps to appear. This product has just the right amount of oil, so it was great to use during the seasonal changes:) But it's not too lightweight either, which was even better~~ In my experience, it seems to have about a 6:4 ratio of oil to moisture!! It might feel a bit heavy in the peak of summer, but as the weather has gotten cooler and my skin has become drier, it's been great to use.

Smooth application
The texture is like a rich moisturizer, so when applied to the skin, it absorbs without any residue!! It seems to get absorbed well without needing a lot of patting, so it was really convenient to use in the busy mornings.

There's no separate plastic lid - you just twist the top part of the jar to pump out the product, which made it easy to use~!! And for serums or essences, some come in glass bottles, but this is in a plastic container, so it's not heavy, which I liked.
