It applies smoothly and on busy days, you can just brush it through a few times for a quick set. It's convenient and easy to carry around, making it really handy. Be careful not to apply it too many times, as it can become heavy, reducing volume and giving a greasy feel. What I really appreciate about this product is that you only apply it to your hair. With my previous product, I sometimes accidentally got it on my face or in my eyes while spraying, but there's no worry about that with this one! I bought this to use on my bangs, but... If I apply too little, it doesn't hold at all, and if I apply too much, it makes my hair look greasy. Just a few gentle strokes with the brush and your hair is neatly in place. Unfortunately, if you brush one area too much, it can become stiff and hard. You should lightly brush downwards, as if you're combing. I love that I can control the amount and target specific areas, unlike spray products that can be overwhelming and get everywhere, even on your forehead! It can stiffen slightly if you brush it too many times. Like with most products, you'll need to find the right number of applications that works for you. I wish it came in some pretty colors too! It's so convenient - just a quick brush in the elevator, pop it in your bag, and you've got voluminous bangs all day without any fuss! When you style the volume with your hands and brush the roots a few times, the volume just pops up and stays. The fixer solution has a slight brownish tint, so it's not a 'Look, I applied something~shiny~' situation. It's almost unnoticeable. It builds up subtly, making you wonder if it's working as you keep applying and brushing. I have side-swept bangs, so I focused on giving strength to the roots, and it was particularly useful for taming those tricky areas like sideburns and those not-quite-bangs-not-quite-side-hair wisps. When you brush those flyaway strands with this product, they come together nicely and settle down. The marketing needs improvement. 1. The product box looks unappealing. 2. The name is confusing. If you search for 'hair fixer', you get all sorts of products... I understand it's a hair fixer by the company Modubom, but the name should be easier to search for, and the text on the product itself looks cheap. It's not on-trend. I'm not sure who their target audience is, but the design seems to be aimed at older men. Just like how a hefty Gillette razor often works better than a pink, flower-adorned one, while the design might be questionable, the performance is good.

It's adorably compact, making it perfect to carry around. Unlike other formulas that can harden or give that artificial 'old man' hair look, Moduborn gently smooths down flyaways with just a quick swipe. The application is super simple, and I feel at ease using it since it's made with natural charcoal. I was amazed to see it hold up even in the rain! I'll definitely be spending my own money to buy this again. The only downside was the scent. It had a bit of a glue-like smell, which was disappointing. However, it fades quickly, so it wasn't a major issue. Other than that, it was fine. Initially, I liked how it created volume after just a few brushes. However, The fragrance is too strong, and if you brush multiple times, your hair becomes stiff and matted. I probably won't use it again. I was a bit disappointed that if you brush too much, the hair starts to clump together and lose its natural movement.
