For reference, I use cushion foundation in shade 25 with a light undertone. I was really satisfied when using this in combination with matte lip tints. I mainly use the velvet lip tint FADE IN, and on days when I'm wearing low-saturation outfits (especially all black), I use Royal Midnight as a base over my lips, then lightly apply Dinto 260 Imperator on top for a pop of color. My technique is to apply Dinto only to the inner part of the lips, let it dry slightly, then gently blend it outwards almost to the lip line. This creates a natural gradient effect that looks like an over-lined lip without actually over-lining. It's a method I swear by. Key points: Great for reviving light-colored tints, tricky to use alone, and a winter deep tone essential!

There's definitely a synthetic scent to it, which might be off-putting for those sensitive to fragrances. The cap turns too easily, so I've developed a habit of always checking my bag to make sure it hasn't opened...

The minty scent and cooling sensation are a matter of personal preference, but I find it refreshing every time I apply it. I was worried the silicone tip might be uncomfortable, but it's actually quite easy to control the amount. The design is pretty, and being a black gloss without other color options makes it very easy to pair with other products. However, it might be too bold to use on its own, so it's a bit tricky for solo use. It's great for adjusting the saturation of lip tints that are too light for your skin tone - it's bringing all my nearly-discarded tints back to life!

It's quite sticky, almost syrup-like. I don't think I could eat or drink with it on, and since I can't stand the feeling of heavy products on my lips, I probably won't use it often.

As someone who doesn't often use plumping products, this one really works wonders! The texture is like a lip gloss, with beautiful color and shine. It's versatile too - you can use it over other lipsticks to neutralize their color, or apply multiple layers on its own for a fuller look that enhances your natural lip color. I especially love the black shade - it's genuinely black, which is fantastic.

For a gloss, it's not very shiny. Personally, I don't like glosses with shimmer, so I didn't care for it. The mini size is truly as small as a stubby pencil.

It darkens bright lipsticks that don't suit you when applied together. Has a plumping effect.

The applicator tip isn't very hygienic, so I either use it first or dispense the product separately. I hope they redesign it. +Update: The tip has been redesigned, which is great. This drawback no longer exists.

My skin tone priority is: 1) Fall Dark, 2) Winter Dark, 3) Light undertone. This product is great for toning down brighter shades, making it perfect when lipsticks don't suit me well. I use it to fix lip products I've bought that don't quite work. The plumping effect is also nice, so I use it often in my makeup routine.

I'm a bit disappointed that the applicator has a brush tip. I usually don't apply it alone, but over other lip products, and I'm worried about the tint color transferring. Having to use my finger or a silicone brush to apply it is quite inconvenient. It would be great if they could switch to a silicone brush for easier application and maintenance.

This plumping gloss is packed with dark magic for your winter look. While I love the color, it's perfect for transforming any lip that's too bright or vivid into a perfectly adhering lip that I absolutely adore. Along with MAC's Squirt Plumping Stick in Jet color, it's my current favorite plumper.
