This soap is a game-changer - it lathers amazingly well right down to the last bit! Scent: It has a woody, sap-like fragrance that's quite strong. It might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation for some, but the soap itself is so good that I've already gone through four bars! Texture: It's a firm bar that dries well on its own. My bathroom is quite humid, and softer soaps usually only last about two weeks, but this one holds up for a month on its own. When I use it sparingly, it can even last up to three months. Hydration and cleansing effectiveness: It cleanses incredibly well. I haven't tried removing makeup with it, but I think it could probably handle removing mineral sunscreen. The lather is absolutely phenomenal - it foams up easily just by rubbing it in your hands. Even when it's down to a tiny sliver, it still produces an impressive amount of foam. You can truly use it right down to the last bit. Unique selling point: Unlike other cosmetics, it comes with a pouch. It seems to be for soap storage, but you can also hang it up and use it as a soap saver, or repurpose it as a small cosmetics pouch or even to store panty liners. Additional notes: The lather is seriously impressive. The soap doesn't soften easily, which is fantastic. The soap can dry out and occasionally crack. However, compared to other soaps, it cracks less, stays firm, and performs well. It's incredibly gentle and lathers up nicely. It's neither too heavy nor too light - a style that's hard to dislike. The cleansing effectiveness isn't bad, but I'm not sure if it's good enough. There are so many great products out there. I recommend using this as a morning cleansing bar.
