  Pros

  While preparing for pregnancy, I wanted to use products with safe, high-quality ingredients from the start. After extensive research and comparing various products' ingredients and prices, I finally decided on Dr. Alga's product. I love that it's silicone-free, and I was specifically looking for a mineral sunscreen. Despite the typical white cast and stiffness associated with mineral sunscreens, this one isn't stiff at all, and the white cast is minimal and looks natural. As someone with super sensitive skin and deep dryness, I can't use thick sunscreens, so finding a hydrating mineral sunscreen was a no-brainer purchase!

  While I appreciate that it's not stiff and the white cast looks natural, it does feel a bit rich, which can cause some pilling when applying makeup.

  Pros

  As someone with sensitive skin prone to allergic reactions to certain ingredients, I'm relieved this doesn't cause any tingling sensation after application. The beige-toned formula allows for a natural-looking application. I've been using this sunscreen alone for my skin makeup, skipping foundation entirely.

  Cons

  Initially, there's a slight white cast that seems to sit on top of the skin. However, as time passes, it naturally absorbs, eliminating that heavy, floating feeling.

  It's soft and moisturizing. I like that it's made with natural ingredients.

  It's a bit disappointing that it's too greasy. When I apply the sun stick, it feels like it's coating my skin like Vaseline.
