I suspect I have a light undertone. Personal preferences: I dislike products with strong pigmentation, matte finishes, or those that emphasize dead skin cells. I prefer moisturizing products with subtle, delicate colors. I don't particularly care about staining or long-lasting effects. - Color and pigmentation: It's not too intense, rather subtle, so it should suit various skin tones. Above all, I tend to look good in muted colors, and this product doesn't have much fluorescent or reddish undertones, so it suited me quite well. Love that it allows for that juicy, plump lip look. When applied lightly, it's pleasantly moisturizing. - Scent: It has a sweet fragrance. While it might be hit or miss for some, I don't mind it much. - Emphasis on dead skin cells: The fact that it doesn't emphasize them is its best feature. I have a lot of dead skin, and when I use tints or lip glosses, they often make my lips feel rough with visible flakes. This one doesn't do that, which is fantastic. While other shades looked very different from the official website images and were full of fluorescent tones or had an awkward pink hue, this one is calm, moisturizing, and doesn't emphasize dead skin. I'll likely repurchase it as a lip balm alternative. - Hygiene: Applying with fingers isn't the most hygienic method. - Temperature sensitivity: It hardens quickly in cold temperatures and becomes too runny when it's warm. I don't mind much, but I think this could be a deal-breaker for some. - Color: While generally fine, there's a slight hint of what feels like a fluorescent tone to me, so I'm not 100% satisfied with the color. Use your fingernail to scoop out the product. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinAug 30, 2023
If you love lips that sparkle like glass beads and want to avoid emphasizing lip wrinkles or dead skin, I highly recommend this product! - Color: The actual color was quite different from the photos! While the official website shows a more muted, less saturated shade, when applied it's surprisingly vibrant. It also interacts with your natural lip color, so the result may vary from person to person. I have naturally darker lips, so I needed to neutralize my lip color first to see the true shade. But this adaptability is actually a plus - it seems to suit both cool and warm skin tones effortlessly! Most people around me loved it and bought it too. >> While the color might surprise you, it's universally flattering. Shine: It gives a beautiful glass-like glow✨ What's great is that it doesn't feel heavy or overly sticky. I found some glassy lip balms too sticky and heavy, but this one, while it does transfer a bit, has a lighter texture that I really appreciate. The shine is absolutely perfect - it gives that coveted 'glass skin' look on your lips! >> The shine is a gorgeous, clear glass-like coating! Application: The way it applies varies dramatically depending on temperature. When it's too melted, it goes on quite patchy, which was disappointing. I had to deduct a star for this. It made me realize it might be tricky to apply outdoors. However, when it's at the right consistency, it applies thinly, evenly, and smoothly - just perfect! >> It's very temperature-sensitive, which can be a drawback. Overall: While it's great in most aspects, I wouldn't recommend it for on-the-go use as it melts easily. It's best used indoors in a cool environment for a beautiful application. Just keep in mind that being a lip balm, it won't survive eating or drinking. The second photo was taken in natural sunlight, so it appears a bit yellower. The color in the first photo is more accurate.
