The serum has a brownish hue. It has a herbal scent. The absorption is not very fast but moderate. The redness seems to be subsiding. It is mild, so it can be used anytime. It has decent moisturizing properties. A slight lingering stickiness... The scent... Still better than artificial fragrances. It doesn't manage to quickly subside visible blemishes. - ye****Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 7, 2025
Usage period: N years Pros: Non-irritating and excellent hydration. Absorbs without feeling heavy. They promote it for its soothing effect, but... I occasionally get blemishes, making me wonder if this ingredient doesn't suit me. It might be great for people with naturally good skin! While the hydration might be lacking, I used the mugwort cream without any blemishes! - ki*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 21, 2025
I bought two bottles and have been using it for about a month. I'm usually serious about ampoules and tend to use them generously. Considering the soothing ingredient, I decided to try it, and I found that Hwahae doesn't contain any harmful chemical ingredients in the product. 1. Application: It's a bit sticky? Slightly heavy, but personally, I liked that it stayed on my face for a long time. Before blow-drying my hair, I apply the ampoule and let it sit for about 10 minutes, and it dries along with my hair. After drying, I lightly apply a hydrating pad (from another brand), and my skin feels amazing! 2. Absorption: Despite its heavy texture, the absorption isn't as low as you might think. In fact, it felt pleasantly moisturizing. 3. Recommended skin type: If you're like me with dehydrated skin, prone to acne or excess sebum from eating greasy foods or ice cream, and regularly use soothing pads or creams, you absolutely must buy this! There's nothing particularly bad, but I don't just apply a small amount of ampoule gently. I tend to layer it on and sleep when it's mostly dried, so my experience differs from others who say it remains on their face. Given my age, I tend to apply ampoules thoroughly when I use them. 1. Apply a generous amount of Missha ampoule. 2. Place a MedXXXal Madecassoside hydrating pad on top, remove after 10 minutes, and wipe the remaining essence on your neck. 3. Sleep soundly. - so*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 17, 2025
Excellent for soothing skin - quickly calms irritated and reddened skin. Light texture - absorbs well without stickiness thanks to its refreshing water-based formula. Gentle ingredients - I've been using it for over 5 years despite having sensitive skin, as it's non-irritating. Great for layering - you can apply multiple layers without it feeling heavy. Somewhat weak moisturizing power - while it provides hydration, it's a bit lacking when used alone for moisture. However, I haven't found this to be a major drawback since I use it with an eye cream. Value for money is debatable - the price seems high for the amount you get, considering it's a concentrated ampoule. - eu*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 20, 2025
Highly recommended for blemish-prone skin. One squeeze of the dropper provides ample hydration and soothes any burning sensation. Applying two layers keeps your skin moisturized all day long. While Missha ampoules generally have high quality, I'd suggest other products if you don't specifically need blemish control or soothing. Compared to other ampoules, this one was just average. - 0e**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 14, 2025
This product is amazing for calming the skin. Blemishes disappear quickly, and even though I have dry skin, it works wonders for me. The packaging is super convenient - when you open the lid, the dropper automatically fills up, making it easy to use. It comes in a generous size, and the herbal, mugwort-like scent makes you feel like you're doing something healthy for your skin! The price is a bit steep, but it's worth grabbing when it's on sale. - ch*******Oily SkinAcne SkinMar 8, 2025
The texture isn't watery, but it feels like it's coating the skin's surface It feels more oily than hydrating, and it causes whiteheads to appear - dn********Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 6, 2025
I first tried this when it was on sale during the Nego-wang event, and I've been using it consistently ever since. I alternate between this and the Mugwort Soothing Ampoule. The mugwort formula is great - it doesn't cause any blemishes on my skin. Some people might not like the scent, but I found it refreshing and healthy. I'm on my umpteenth bottle now - it's truly a reliable staple in my skincare routine. The price can be a bit high for the amount you get, but I manage by buying it during sales or alternating with other products from the same mugwort line. - ju*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2025
I originally planned to use bee pollen, but due to allergies, I switched to mugwort. The cream absorbs well and feels smooth on application!! Despite my sensitive skin, it doesn't seem to cause any blemishes. I have oily skin, so it feels a bit rich, but it seems gentle, so I've been applying it diligently in the evenings. There aren't really any drawbacks, but it does feel slightly oily. - hl*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 16, 2025
It seems to be really effective for soothing the skin. I had irregular blemishes, but after using this, they seem to have calmed down a bit. It's especially good at soothing my skin during summer when sweat was causing havoc. I'm satisfied with how well it calms my skin. There's nothing I'm particularly disappointed with. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the bottle is a bit heavy?
