The surface softens easily. When it gets small, it becomes so mushy it loses its shape. However, since the product is so gentle, I'm willing to overlook this minor issue.

Though it's marketed for dry skin, I have oily skin and I'm loving it! It's gentle yet effectively removes excess oil, so I keep repurchasing.
