I only apply it in the morning. After using mist and ampoule, I skip the emulsion and apply the Rénergie cream. This keeps it light and fresh. I dab a bit behind my ears, which replaces perfume, so I don't need to use a separate fragrance. The charm of buying during sale seasons or on Naver is getting lots of free samples - it feels great! Also, I scored a 15ml cream perfect for travel.

When you first apply it, there's a slight tingling sensation. It might be a bit strong. While it doesn't cause any breakouts, there's a stinging feeling that lasts for about 1-5 seconds. It does fade quickly though. Also, since my skin tends to break out with oily products, I appreciate that this isn't greasy. However, for those with dry or normal skin, this alone might not be enough to prevent dryness or tightness. I only use this in the morning, and at night I use either Biotherm Aquasource or Lancôme Absolue Soft Cream. I'm really serious about my skincare routine. The price is a bit wicked, haha! It's nice to get lots of samples during promotions, but usually... The Rénergie cream leaves a slight disappointment as it needs to be applied lightly. However, it's still good as it contains a balanced mix of firming, brightening, and anti-aging ingredients. While it's suitable for ages 30-50, it might not be the best fit for those over 60 or in their 20s.

I have sensitive, combination skin prone to blemishes. This cream is easy to apply lightly, provides lots of hydration, and leaves the skin feeling fresh and moisturized for a long time. The scent - ah! It has Lancôme's signature rose fragrance, which is quite intense. You don't even need perfume. It's more affordable than the Absolue line, with a generous amount that works for morning, day, and night use. So, I'm very satisfied and enjoying using it. I've been using it for about 10 days now. For mornings, Rénergie is the ultimate choice. It even works well under makeup!

I keep buying Lancôme products because of their lovely fragrance! This one is no exception. It's not overly rich, so I can apply it both morning and night.

Applying a single layer works well under makeup without causing pilling. However, if your skin is very dry and you layer the cream multiple times before applying makeup, you might experience some pilling. On particularly dry days, it's best to apply a generous amount at night and stick to a single application before makeup. (Keep in mind that skin varies from person to person, so some may not experience any pilling at all!)

When I used it on my compromised skin barrier, it quickly helped restore it, improved skin texture, and left my skin moisturized and healthy. It's versatile enough for year-round use, but seems especially effective during seasonal changes and winter!
