  Pros

  The subtle scent reminds me of a gentle mugwort aroma, which I found quite pleasant. I love the charming name "Snow Flower Hydrating Cream," and it's reasonably priced too.

  Unfortunately, this cream immediately triggered blemishes on my skin. At first, I couldn't believe a supposedly soothing moisturizer could cause this, so I took a break for a few days before trying again. But once more, my cheeks became irritated and flushed. Despite being part of the Hwahae Testers program, I felt obligated to continue using it to provide feedback. After two more days, my skin condition worsened, and I developed acne. Even applying my usual highly effective anti-blemish cream didn't help - my cheeks are still itchy as I write this. Far from having a calming effect, this product seems to irritate the skin and provoke blemishes. In my experience, it doesn't live up to its marketing claims at all. It's also heavier than I'd expect for a moisturizer. After application, my phone screen feels slippery - there's an odd combination of richness without oiliness. The tiny particles in the cream might also contribute to skin irritation. The lack of a handle on the inner lid makes it frustrating to open. I don't typically have sensitive skin and rarely experience product-induced skin issues, but even a small amount of this caused unprecedented redness and itching. I trusted this product because it's from a major company and advertised as gentle. I'm upset and disappointed that it caused blemishes. This is by far the worst product I've tried through the Hwahae Testers program. I honestly believe it shouldn't be on the market. For reference, I've used other products containing houttuynia cordata extract, including face masks, without any issues. I suspect it's not the houttuynia cordata, but rather some other ingredient in this formula that's causing the itching, redness, and blemishes.

  여름에 쓰기 딱 좋아요! 쿨링감이 어마어마합니다🧊 냉장고에 넣어놓고 열받은 피부에 조금 두껍게 올려주면 진정도 잘 되더라구요~ 여름에 쓰기 좋은 가벼운 질감 스파출러 내장이라 사용하기도 좋아요~ 저는 7월에 갈 동남아에도 챙겨가서 얼굴&몸 진정용으로 사용하려구요! 더운 계절에 강추🧊💖

  수면팩으로도 사용해봤는데 제 피부에는 좁쌀 같은 트러블이 조금 올라왔어요😢 얇게 바르면 괜찮습니다~ 젤 크림이라 극건성 분들이 사용하시기에는 부족한 보습감인 것 같아요😢 크림안에 작은 캡슐같은게 많이 들어있는데 많이 예민하신분들은 문지르는 과정에서 조금 자극이 있을 수도 있을 것 같아요 이 캡슐이 완전히 녹는데도 조금 시간이 걸리더라구요😢

  냉장고에 넣어놓고 여름에 피부 온도 낮추기 강추!! 그냥 사용해도 쿨링기능이 느껴지는데 냉장고 넣어놓고 사용하면 배가 돼요😜🧊

  The texture is like a refreshing sorbet! You can slather it on generously before bed, just like the famous D*cktor soothing cream, and use it as an overnight sleeping pack. It's great for calming facial heat and reducing redness! I love how it leaves my skin feeling fresh and light.

  Tube-type seems more convenient than jar-type. I'm using it only at night as the granules inside make it unsuitable for daytime use. It has a lightweight feel for dry skin and provides decent soothing effects.

  Cons

  The soothing effect is quite nice, but due to its sensitivity, when I layer it on multiple times, the rosemary oil causes me to break out in milia and my skin gets red like an allergic reaction. Applying it thinly seems to be the better option.

  The cooling effect itself was nice. It applies with a refreshing sensation and absorbs well into the skin.

  This was my first time trying a product with Houttuynia Cordata extract, and unfortunately it didn't agree with my skin. About a minute after application, I felt a burning sensation and my face turned red, so I immediately washed it off.

  The granules make it feel a bit tingly when you first apply it. Not sure if it's because of this, but around the time I used it, I noticed some small blemishes suddenly appearing on my face..

  I really liked the slight cooling effect and the high level of hydration it provided.

  Cons

  It seems that all skincare products with 'cica' in the name don't agree with me. I'm not sure what exactly causes it, but this cream made my entire face red and swollen, completely upsetting my skin. My pores enlarged, and blemishes appeared all over my face, which was really upsetting. I wish cica ingredients worked well for me too.

  This was a great value set that allowed me to try several products. The built-in spatula made for clean and hygienic application. The texture is slightly heavier than aloe gel.

  I'm not sure if houttuynia cordata doesn't agree with me, but after using it, my face turned red and I felt a burning sensation. I tried to push through and keep using it, but it was no use. If you're new to products with houttuynia cordata, make sure to patch test first.
