This product has a very watery consistency, so I layered it multiple times to boost hydration. It's perfect for summer use!
ConsI'm not sure if it's effective for blemishes. Since it lacks richness, I applied a moisturizer on top for extra hydration.

It's a complete staple for me. In my opinion, it's the top choice for hydration and soothing. It's just great. You'll understand once you try it.
ConsThe oil content is slightly lacking. It leans more towards hydration than oil. But that's not a major issue since you can always supplement with a cream for extra richness.
TipI recommend refrigerating and using it during summer!

It's a versatile product that hydrates, soothes, and prevents issues all at once, making it a solid recommendation. After trying a sample, I was impressed by how light it felt while still leaving my skin comfortable, so I decided to purchase it. The price is reasonable, and it's gentle enough for blemish-prone, oily, or combination sensitive skin types. It has a soothing effect, like a gentle pat on the skin. Since I've been using tea tree antibacterial oil on angry spots, I'm not sensitive to the scent, and this ampoule doesn't have an overpowering tea tree fragrance anyway, so it should be fine for those with scent sensitivities.
ConsAlthough it's called a Calming Moisture Ampoule, the hydration level is a bit lacking. It doesn't give a super hydrated feeling, but rather a sense of purified, clean skin, so the moisturizing power is insufficient.
TipWhen my skin feels particularly dry, I layer this ampoule with a hyaluronic acid ampoule or a niacinamide ampoule, followed by a generous application of panthenol cream. This combination is fantastic for soothing and comforting the skin! (I have combination dehydrated skin)

It has a light texture, and I'm using it for its soothing properties.
ConsIt's not oily at all, so you'll need to layer it with other products. Not recommended for winter.

ConsIf I had to point out a downside, it's that the lightweight formula only provides hydration, so you'll need to apply an additional moisturizer or cream on top

It absorbs well and is great for summer use. In winter, you can supplement it with other products for extra moisture.
ConsThose with dry skin or during winter might find it a bit lacking in moisture. It's not rich in oils but full of hydration, so I don't rely on this alone for deep moisturization.

In winter, moisturizer alone isn't enough, so I always use an ampoule! The Mediheal Tea Tree Soothing Hydrating Ampoule, as the name suggests, specializes in soothing and hydrating the skin. With its high concentration of tea tree extract, it not only calms the skin but also provides instant hydration in winter! Usually, 'tea tree' brings to mind a strong, harsh sensation, which can be intimidating for sensitive skin types. However, this product has a light texture and doesn't cause any stinging or burning sensation, making it comfortable to use. It even seemed to quickly reduce skin heat! I think with consistent use, it might be effective for those small bumps. I'll need to add to this review after I've used up the entire product.
ConsThis can't be helped, but the distinctive tea tree scent isn't particularly appealing... haha. Although it's a hydrating ampoule, you can't expect it to solve all your moisturizing needs on its own. I found that after the ampoule absorbs, you need to seal it in with a richer moisturizer. Given its light texture, it seems difficult to use alone in winter.
TipAfter toner and ampoule, it's crucial to apply a somewhat rich moisturizer to lock in the hydration. This approach of 'trapping' moisture in the skin is key to eliminating those small bumps!

The dropper format makes it convenient to apply.
ConsIt's a lightweight formula with less hydration, so it's not enough to use on its own. This product alone isn't sufficient to fully hydrate the skin.
TipWhile it's a lightweight formula with less hydration for standalone use, I found no issues when I used it in combination with toner and moisturizer.

It was the perfect time for a hydrating and soothing ampoule, and I was lucky enough to be chosen as a Hwahae Tester! Considering my skin condition, here are the advantages: 1. Gentle! It was mild enough not to irritate my sensitive and inflamed skin. 2. Great for layering due to its thin consistency As someone prone to blemishes, I usually avoid heavy, oily products. This one is lightweight and low in oil, making it suitable for layering. 3. Hydration The thin formula absorbs quickly and cleanly, providing a refreshing moisture boost. It felt like applying toner. 4. Cooling effect With my inflamed skin, a cooling effect was essential. This product had just the right amount of cooling without being irritating. 5. Scent Some cosmetics can have overwhelming artificial or strong scents, but this one is almost fragrance-free with just a hint of tea tree, which I found pleasant. 6. Reduction in redness I used the product for about two weeks. While there wasn't a dramatic decrease in blemishes, I definitely noticed a reduction in redness.
Cons1. Lacks richness While I prefer lightweight products, this one might be too light to use alone. 2. Similarly, it gets used up quickly due to its lightness I enjoy layering products, but when used alone, I found myself using too much. I ended up pairing it with a slightly richer ampoule. Other than that, I didn't experience any irritation or increase in blemishes, so I didn't notice any significant drawbacks.
TipWhen used in combination with a slightly richer product, it applied smoothly and absorbed well, which I liked. It was effective in reducing redness, and when I layered it generously before makeup, my foundation went on beautifully. When I felt my face getting dry while at home, I would lightly apply it, and the cooling effect was really nice!
