I'm not sure about its effectiveness in fading blemishes, but it's a product that can be used without irritation, so I use it when I have breakouts. I usually use modeling packs with Vollaion products, but since those are more expensive, I add gel, toner, and ampoules, plus Beplain Cicaterol, instead of modeling pack water.
