  As someone who's not a strong cool-tone but can't pull off warm-toned lips, I highly recommend this color! I was looking for something that wasn't too bold, but also not a nude shade with no color payoff. I'm thrilled with the color I found in this product. It gives just the right amount of liveliness to your complexion. It's a shade that works well for cool tones without being too overpowering. The case has a lovely watercolor-like design that I really appreciate.

  Cons

  The staying power wasn't great, unfortunately. It wears off quickly, and if you apply it without exfoliating first, it tends to show and disappear rapidly. However, this might be unavoidable due to its matte formula.

  Tip

  I discovered a neat trick for a natural gradient effect. Apply some lip balm, then gently pat this product around the outer edges of your lips, focusing the color there. Reapply to the inner part of your lips, and you'll achieve a beautiful, subtle gradient look!

  Pros

  1. Color payoff The color is a soft pink that's not overwhelming. It seems like it would suit all cool-toned skin types. 2. Texture Despite being a matte lipstick, it feels smooth on the lips. (Note: The color is more vibrant than in the attached photo. Also, the photo shows the lipstick with a lip essence on top, so please keep that in mind.)

  As expected with matte lipsticks, it can emphasize dead skin cells on the lips. However, this can be easily addressed if you check out the tips section.

  Tip

  If you're worried about dead skin cells showing: Before bed, apply a generous amount of lip balm. When you wake up, the flakiness will be gone. Personally, I find the color so beautiful. To add some glow, I like to apply it over a T***n lip essence. That combination is truly stunning!

  Pros

  First off, this is absolutely gorgeous for muted tones! Cool muted beauties, you need to get this! I've tried the famous Rom&nd Lipstick in Pink Sand as a cool-toned base lip color, but this one seems to highlight dead skin cells less. Of course, being a matte lipstick, it can't completely avoid emphasizing texture, but it's definitely better than Rom&nd in that aspect!

  Cons

  Since it's a matte lipstick, emphasizing dead skin cells is unavoidable... You'll need to exfoliate your lips before applying to achieve a pretty look.

  Tip

  Use this as a base and top it with a moisturizing tinted lip balm to minimize the appearance of dead skin cells!
