I originally have combination skin with an oily T-zone, so when I use matte cushions, they all cling to my skin and my skin feels dry. When the oil comes up, it cracks and crumbles. But the Neo Cushion doesn't have that problem, and I used up both of the containers.
First of all, the design is so pretty, and the puff seems to play a big role.
I now understand why the Neo Cushion is so famous, and the Neo Line's powder is the best.

Spraying on the Puffae mist works quite nicely.

However, my skin was a bit flushed and had some exfoliation as well..

The puff could have been a bit bigger - it's a bit tight with three fingers, but a bit loose with two.

If you want a more definite tone-up before and after makeup, try mixing it with a foundation that's about one shade lighter.

If your neck is darker than your face, don't unnecessarily apply foundation to your neck trying to match the tone. I also just tapped the area where the neck and chin meet a few times when wearing a white shirt, and it all came off (this product is especially bad for that). It doesn't even come off easily....I ended up throwing it away.
Also, if you don't properly do your skincare, in winter, the dry areas around your nose and eyebrows will end up emphasizing flakiness - be careful of that.
And personally, even though I have a tanned and yellowish skin tone, when I layered it on, the yellow tint became too overpowering, and I ended up looking sallow... an earthy tone ㅠ
While it covers blemishes completely, the natural look where my original skin tone shows through is its biggest strength. But on the flip side, the product itself has a (slightly darker) yellow base, so there's a lack of a brightening effect...

This is my first time using the Laneige cushion, and I'm really impressed. The color is bright, and if you have a good skincare routine, there's no darkening and my makeup stays on really well.
