  Pros

  As someone with extremely sensitive, oily, and acne-prone skin that easily reddens even with just a regular cleansing foam, I was amazed at how gentle this product is despite containing exfoliating ingredients. For my forehead with small blemishes, I apply the cleanser directly and gently massage. For areas prone to redness like my nose and cheeks, I create a rich lather in my hands first and massage very gently to cleanse without irritation. Just a small amount, about the size of a fingernail, creates plenty of foam when mixed with water. After rinsing, my skin feels hydrated (not that slippery feeling from incomplete rinsing) which makes me even more satisfied. I loved the sample so much that I purchased the full-size product, and it has become one of my favorite items that I use regularly.

  Cons

  Those who prefer a squeaky clean feeling after cleansing might not be satisfied with this product. However, for those with sensitive skin, it's worth noting that such a stripped feeling can actually be harsh on your skin barrier. If you like a thorough cleanse with a moisturizing and gentle feel, I highly recommend this product.

  Pros

  While I'm not sure about the exfoliating effect, I loved how well it lathered. The scent wasn't bad either, and although it left my skin feeling moisturized, it didn't feel like there was any residue. The granules dissolve, so you need to massage until they're gone! Maybe because you have to keep rubbing until the granules dissolve rather than stopping when it foams, the cleansing effectiveness was better than I expected.

  Cons

  Personally, I prefer a squeaky-clean finish over a moisturized one, so I didn't like that aspect. However, because it cleanses so well, I'm considering purchasing it.

  Tip

  In my opinion, this cleanser, along with Pyunkang Yul and the red and black cap versions from COSRX, are the best non-low pH foams with great cleansing effectiveness.
