Recommended skin type - It seems suitable for all skin types, but those with oily skin might find it a bit heavy. Application - It applies smoothly, just like a soothing cream. Absorption - Personally, I feel it doesn't absorb that well, but it's different for everyone. My friends say it's fine for them.
ConsSkin calming - Despite Hanyul's heavy promotion of its calming effects, I personally didn't notice any soothing benefits. Scent - It has an old-fashioned fragrance that might not appeal to those sensitive to scents. Packaging - For those who find this product's packaging inconvenient, you can find it in tube form at stores like Olive Young!
TipThis review provides a balanced perspective on the product, highlighting both its strengths and weaknesses. The reviewer notes improvements in skin texture and ease of application, but also mentions potential issues with absorption and lack of calming effects. They also offer helpful advice about alternative packaging options for those who prefer tubes over jars.

It seems good as it is moisturizing and soft.
ConsThe fragrance seems a bit too strong for my taste. The artificial scent is quite overpowering.

Used for 1 week. * Gel-type hydrating moisturizer * Absorbs smoothly * Great oil and moisture balance Though it's a hydrating cream, it has a nice balance of oil content. It replenishes moisture while leaving a slightly rich finish * Excellent hydration As someone with dry skin, I often found this type of moisturizer too light, but the hydrating power was surprisingly good With a bit more attention to the previous skincare steps, I could probably use this well into autumn * Perfect summer moisturizer for dry skin On humid, hot days, heavy creams feel uncomfortable But going too light leaves skin feeling tight from air conditioning This cream strikes the right balance - light enough yet protective I've tried over 10 different creams this summer, including samples Personally, this was the most balanced and easiest to use
ConsThe artificial mugwort? scent was almost a deal-breaker for me

The Mugwort Soothing Moisture Cream arrived in elegant packaging, which I really appreciated. The jar design with a sealed lid made it feel extra hygienic. The texture is typical of a hydrating moisturizer, giving a cool sensation when applied to the skin. It felt like it instantly calmed any heat or irritation with its refreshing formula. As someone with super sensitive and extremely dry skin, I'm always focused on hydration. During the testing period, I used only this cream, and despite the hot weather, my skin didn't feel particularly dry. In fact, when I applied a thicker layer at night like a sleeping mask, I woke up with soothed, deeply moisturized skin. I think this is a great daily moisturizer for both morning and night use. It's non-irritating and lightweight, making it suitable for regular application without any issues.
ConsWhile I don't have many complaints, the scent was a bit disappointing for me personally. It had an artificial herbal smell that might not appeal to everyone. If you prefer unscented products or are sensitive to fragrances, this could be a hit or miss.
TipThe cool sensation upon application makes it perfect for hot summer nights - I've been using it as a sleeping mask with great results. Although I'm not a fan of the scent, its performance as a sleeping mask is so good that I'm considering repurchasing. If you're looking for a deeply hydrating moisturizer, I'd recommend trying Hanyul's Mugwort Cream.

Love how it finishes so smoothly!
ConsFor those who prefer fragrance-free products, the scent might be a bit intense. It has a slight cosmetic fragrance.

It's as if they've struck a nice balance between oil and moisture. However, while it's richer compared to typical gel creams, it's still on the lighter side when you stack it up against those ultra-nourishing, thick creams. As someone with oily skin, I usually skip creams or opt for light hydrating gel formulas in spring and summer. The downside of gel creams is often the pilling, and many leave an unpleasant film-like finish. Plus, while they feel refreshing, they're often not moisturizing enough when the weather gets a bit dry. This product, however, doesn't seem to have those typical gel cream drawbacks. That's why it's great for year-round use if you have oily skin. In summer, I apply it lightly in the evening after my water-based essence. In winter, I layer it over an essence or ampoule, and it works perfectly. It absorbs well and feels like it simply replenishes oil and moisture without any fuss. It might not be enough for those with dry skin, but I'd recommend it for combination to oily skin types.
ConsThere's a strong, artificial sweet floral scent that has nothing to do with mugwort... The overpowering fragrance is definitely a drawback for me.

I was looking for a less irritating cream and started using the Hanyul Mugwort line. My skin has really calmed down and it's not irritating at all, so I'm extremely satisfied! I plan to keep purchasing this product even after giving birth!
ConsThere's a slight artificial scent, but it's no more than you'd find in any other product. The fragrance isn't overpowering, so I'm just using it as is!

It's gentle enough for acne-prone skin, making it a safe choice for everyday use.
ConsNot recommended for skin that needs deep hydration. If you're sensitive to scents, you might find the artificial cosmetic fragrance off-putting.

No artificial fragrance. After using it intensively at night for two weeks, many people noticed my skin looked clearer and improved. The scent is like dried roses (not artificial). It doesn't feel greasy, so it's comfortable even when applied during workouts. Gentle formula, causing no tingling or itching. Doesn't sit on top of the skin or feel oily. Well-balanced in terms of oil and moisture, making it an excellent hydrating gel cream for summer use.
ConsWhile there are no major drawbacks, the scent might be a bit strong for some. The concentrated dried rose fragrance could potentially be mistaken for an artificial scent.

A small amount spreads easily and is sufficient. It's genuinely hydrating and perfect for summer. While the jar packaging makes it tricky to control the amount, using a spatula solves this issue.
ConsThe artificial fragrance is quite strong. Absorption isn't quick, and being in a jar makes it challenging to control the amount. There's an inner lid that acts like a handle, but I'm not sure how helpful it really is...
