Back when I lived abroad, before SLS was widely recognized as a harmful ingredient, Iherb was my only go-to for finding products with gentle formulations. I started using this shampoo then, and seven years later, I'm still using it! It's gone through several redesigns to arrive at this current look. While it might be a bit too mild for summer use alone, this product really shines during seasonal transitions. As someone with dry skin and a scalp that lacks moisture, I've always struggled with hair care. But with this shampoo, my hair never feels parched. I haven't found a suitable alternative, so I rotate this with other products seasonally. Since the ingredients are so gentle, it doesn't lather as well when your hair is oily. On sweaty, greasy summer days, I recommend using a more clarifying shampoo first, followed by this one for a second cleanse. I truly can't recommend this enough! The only downside is the lack of a larger size option. I suspect this might be due to the natural ingredients being more prone to spoilage. I highly suggest using this shampoo together with its matching conditioner from the same product line.
