  Although the BD01 was glossy and the brightest, it was still dark.

  Pros

  If you have oily skin and love hydration, I highly recommend this! The packaging is absolutely gorgeous. While it's pricey due to the Chanel brand name, it gives a nice dewy finish with just the right amount of richness and a beautiful glow. The color is stunning too. The adherence to the skin is fantastic - it clings perfectly even though it's not a lightweight foundation. To be honest, I'm not sure if it has any major advantages over some excellent Korean brands.

  Cons

  It's similar to Mesh Foundation, but it applies quite thickly. If you dislike heavy coverage, you might not enjoy this. I personally prefer lightweight formulas, so I won't be repurchasing.

  Tip

  For application, Espoir puffs are the best.

  It gives an instant glow as soon as you apply it... It spreads so smoothly! Even after some time, when you retouch, there's no clumping and it applies really evenly!!!!

  Cons

  The price is wicked.. I really want to keep using it, but please stop raising the price!!!

  Pros

  It's a slightly muted, bright rosy hue. The standout feature of this product is that without any extra effort, it gives you a stunningly beautiful, pearly glow that just sparkles. Maybe it's because I've always gone for matte makeup, but this is such a refreshing change. My boyfriend even says it makes me look more luxurious and he loves it way more!

  Cons

  I'm not usually prone to makeup separating or breaking down, but this product doesn't seem to work well for me in that aspect. Whether it's the formulation or just how it is, despite being a dewy type with medium to high coverage and high shine, once the luminous pigments set, it becomes impossible to touch up without disrupting the finish. After some time, when I tried to touch up without thinking (as I would with other dewy products), it all pilled up and turned white and patchy. Oily skin types might not notice this or experience it less, but I think dry to combination dehydrated skin types might have a similar experience.

  Tip

  This product really lets your natural skin texture show through and has quite a bit of shine, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with large pores or textured skin concerns. For best results, use a brush or the included puff to sweep and pat the product on, then for the second layer, just pat it out. This method improved longevity and provided good coverage without any clumping.

  Pros

  This cushion is an absolute must-have for me. The glow it gives is stunningly beautiful. It provides just the right amount of hydration for my dry and sensitive skin. You can achieve that coveted 'peeled egg' look with this. The color is gorgeous too, which is probably its biggest selling point - a beautiful ivory shade. It's hard to find such a perfect color, which is why I keep repurchasing it. While it does apply a bit thicker than expected, it offers decent coverage as a result. I think this is the first product I've consistently repurchased since my beloved Lancôme foundation was discontinued. Part of me wants to keep this little secret all to myself!

  Cons

  As beautiful as it is, the price is a bit steep. The way it breaks down isn't pretty, especially in summer. The coverage isn't perfect, but it's nothing a little concealer can't fix.

  Tip

  If you notice it breaking down after a few hours, try gently wiping with your sunscreen or toner, then touch up immediately. This brings back that beautiful initial glow. I find it works best if you touch up every few hours. The glow when you first complete your base makeup is just so stunning!
