  Pros

  For soothing after exfoliation, I think the Madeca Soothing Gel works well. However, it didn't have much effect on emerging blemishes. The A'pieu Tea Tree Serum was actually better for calming my skin! It's great value for money due to its low price. I think it also has a cooling effect.

  Cons

  For me, applying too much made my skin redder and more irritated. You should only apply a small amount as a spot treatment. If you apply makeup over this, it tends to pill a lot.

  Such great value for money! While it doesn't make blemishes disappear overnight, you can see them gradually subsiding after using it consistently for a few days. The redness also seems to fade a bit. I really liked the light, refreshing texture too.

  When I wash my face the next morning after applying this, I feel like dead skin cells are coming off from the areas where I applied it...!

  Con 1: When applied near the eyes, the 'salicylic acid' component seems to cause irritation, leading to peeling and redness around the eye area. Con 2: It can pill when rubbed, coming off in small bits like dead skin cells. Con 3: Its effectiveness is inconsistent - sometimes it calms blemishes, other times it makes them more swollen.

  I've heard a lot of praise for the spot gel among Daiso's basic skincare products, but it didn't do much for me. It was just a soothing gel with a nice cooling effect. I was advised to apply it thickly on blemishes, but as time passed, it pilled up and became sticky like glue, which was disappointing. It was somewhat better to apply a thin layer and let it absorb completely. Given all the positive reviews, I'm puzzled by its lack of effectiveness and wonder about its purpose. If it hadn't pilled up, I might have liked it despite its ineffectiveness...

  Tip

  Instead of applying it thickly on problem areas, try spreading a thin layer and letting it absorb. If your skin looks shiny as if coated when you check in the mirror, it will definitely pill up like dead skin cells. Make sure it's well-absorbed so that it doesn't reflect light.

  - Texture: Transparent soothing gel - Scent: A unique herbal aroma typical of cica products First off, the value for money is incredible... A spot treatment for just 3000 won? Unbelievable! Initially, I was skeptical due to the low price, and being someone with sensitive skin, I kept debating whether to buy it or not. But with all the buzz around Daiso cosmetics lately and their reputation for quality, curiosity got the better of me and I decided to give it a try...! The verdict? I'm very satisfied!! While it's not a miracle worker that makes blemishes disappear overnight, it does have a noticeable calming effect. It's perfect for those times when you don't want to leave a spot untreated, but you're not quite ready to pop it either. Among all the spot treatments I've tried so far, this one tops the list for value for money. I really hope they don't discontinue it...

  The product size is small... I understand it's due to the low price point, but it runs out quickly with each use... I wish they'd release a larger version too! (It didn't bother me much, but there is some pilling. Since I only apply it before bed or when I'm not going out, this aspect doesn't particularly disappoint me personally.)

  Pros

  I've tried this Daiso spot treatment along with two other products, and personally, this one was more effective! When I apply it on areas with small bumps or where I feel a pimple coming on, and sleep with it overnight, it completely calms the skin down by morning! The formula has a moisturizing and cooling effect similar to aloe gel, and there's no irritation, making it great for daily spot care.

  Cons

  When used together with sunscreen, it tends to pill or roll off like dead skin. It might be better to apply this in the evening rather than in the morning!
