Pros
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I have combination dehydrated skin that develops atopic inflammatory reactions in summer. First off, I love the generous size. The potato extract is great for soothing skin and treating sun-exposed areas, so I mainly used it on my body. It's as hydrating and pleasant as aloe. The texture is fluid like aloe gel and absorbs quickly. It calms the skin after sun exposure. I didn't experience any blemishes.
Cons
There's not much to complain about. However, the lid is a bit flimsy. The closure is weak, so it pops off easily. I've resorted to twisting the cap to use it.
Tip
When you're sunburned or feeling hot, try storing it in the fridge. The cooling effect when applied cold is really effective for soothing the skin.

Pros
When I first opened it, I loved the scent! The texture wasn't sticky, and it had a nice hydrating feel, so it absorbed well into my skin!
Cons
After using it for a while, I keep getting blemishes on my face... At first, I didn't know what the problem was, so I decided to keep using it. But when I noticed more and more breakouts, I stopped for a couple of days and felt my skin calming down a bit...! Still, because the hydration and texture were good, I thought maybe the cream wasn't causing the acne, so I've continued using it. So far, I haven't felt any real improvement, and I'm still breaking out... I wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin.
Tip
It's less sticky, making it easy to apply all over the face. While fragrances aren't great for the skin, I must admit the scent is quite pleasant.

Packaging: First off, I loved the clean white packaging with a gorgeous lid. The translucent cap gave me the impression it would contain a pure, pristine cream inside. I'd say it's somewhere between a hydrating gel and a moisturizing cream. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, this cream type seems perfect for my skin. The hydration seems to last quite a while after application, and it even seems to reduce skin heat? Especially essential for summer!! Texture: I appreciated how it spread cleanly without leaving any sticky residue. Sensitivity: I have super sensitive skin, and usually, incompatible products immediately cause redness and bumps. However, this didn't cause any reactions at all. Absolutely fantastic!

Ingredients: After some research, I found out that it contains fragrance, which explains the pleasant smell. There are also a few ingredients to be cautious about. Those who are sensitive to certain ingredients should carefully check before purchasing.
Tip
I applied a generous amount before using a gua sha tool. It helped reduce skin heat and created a cool, hydrating barrier that seemed to minimize skin irritation during the gua sha process. I found this quite beneficial!

Pros
I have extremely dry skin that lacks both hydration and oil, especially in the deeper layers! Since it's summer, I was looking for lightweight skincare products when I was lucky enough to be selected as a Hwahae Tester to try this out! Texture - While typical moisturizers feel bouncy and moist, this one has a more elastic, deeply hydrating feel! It's slightly heavier and more cohesive than regular moisturizers. Application - When applied, it feels like it creates a protective layer! It's quite different from regular moisturizers, giving a velvety finish similar to using a hair conditioner or face powder. Because of this, it doesn't feel like it's sitting on top of the skin, but I also didn't get the sensation of it being quickly absorbed like other moisturizers. However, when I used it as an overnight mask, unlike other creams, it absorbed well into my skin by morning! Scent - I usually prefer unscented skincare, but this has a subtle fragrance. It's not artificial, but rather a very delicate scent. If you have a less sensitive nose, you might not even notice it.
Cons
My skin felt a bit dry with this alone, so I either applied my previous steps more thoroughly or added a thin layer of a richer cream on top. For my skin type, it worked better as a soothing product rather than purely for hydration. However, I think those with oily skin might get both hydration and soothing benefits from this product!
Tip
You might have heard the old advice to put sliced raw potatoes on sunburned or peeling skin - that's because potatoes are known for their soothing properties! Interestingly, cosmetic ingredients are listed in order of concentration, and while most moisturizers list purified water first, this product has potato water as its first ingredient! This means potato water is the most abundant ingredient in this cream. When I received this product, I had a bad cold and the skin around my nose was irritated and stinging. Trusting the ingredients, I applied it, and miraculously, it soothed my skin! I kept reapplying after blowing my nose, which really helped me get through the cold. This moisturizer also worked wonders when used as a thick overnight mask on days when my skin was irritated. It was incredibly soothing! However, I found it more effective for soothing external irritation rather than calming acne-prone skin. When I had a sudden breakout, it didn't seem to help much, but it was great for soothing other types of external irritation.
