When swatched on the wrist or first applied to the lips, it appears as a fluorescent pink! Don't be alarmed - gently spread it out and it transforms into a lovely pink shade perfect for cool-toned skin. Right after application, the color looks similar to the photo. It's also moisturizing, so it doesn't accentuate dead skin cells on the lips and feels comfortable to wear. As it stains over time, it turns extremely warm-toned. While it starts as a brightening pink that illuminates the face, it later changes to a yellowish tone that's less flattering... I wouldn't recommend this to those who find it bothersome to remove and reapply. The stained color is disappointing. However, the initial color right after application is absolutely gorgeous. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 16, 2024
When first applied to the lips, it has a cool, whitish-pink tone that transforms into a warm pink with a hint of fig-like redness over time. I loved the lively yet subdued pink shade, and it only takes 1-2 swipes for full color payoff. The glossiness is just right for a natural sheen, making it perfect for daily wear without being overwhelming. Impressively, it doesn't transfer much for a glossy tint. As time passes, there's no drying or tightening sensation on the lips. While the stained color could be improved, it adheres well, offering good longevity. It's a versatile lip product that's great when you're unsure what to wear. Personally, the most disappointing aspect was the 'yogurt effect'. I'd never heard of this before, but even with normal lip condition, the inner part of my lips would turn white and clump. You need to exfoliate well before application. If your lips aren't in good condition, it can apply patchily, so proper lip care is crucial. Another downside is that as time passes and you reapply, the stain intensifies, becoming warmer and darker, which I found less than ideal. Instead of rubbing your lips together, gently pat the product with your fingertip. This significantly reduces the 'yogurt effect' and minimizes color changes.
