The initial application may be slightly light, but applying it twice works well. Although it is a glossy lip product, it has good color payoff and lasts quite a long time. It also doesn't get messy or emphasize flaky skin, so it's convenient to carry just one. I highly recommend it for those with dry lips. The color has a nice depth that makes the face appear brighter.

There is a slight feeling of stiffness, but it can be resolved by massaging it with the hands, so it's manageable.

This color is great for those with cooler skin tones. It's a perfect plum shade. However, for my cooler, deeper skin tone, this color doesn't really work well for me - I've barely used it. On its own, it's fine, but it's in an awkward position... It doesn't have that fluorescent look. As a pop of color, it feels a bit flat, so I tend to gravitate more towards a pinker, redder tone. And if I were to wear this as an everyday shade, I'd actually prefer a more natural, nude or lighter tone instead.

The Lilly by Red tint has a very intense pigmentation. Even after swatching on my wrist and trying to remove it with a makeup remover, it just won't come off. (The same goes for +Pia and Too Cool For School products as well, which also have very intense pigmentation.)
