I mainly used it for everyday light makeup, and while it felt like applying a nourishing treatment, it definitely made my lashes appear more defined compared to when I didn't use it. The scent was nearly fragrance-free. Overall, the brush was well-designed with an even distribution of product, making it easy to use.
ConsAlthough it's close to being fragrance-free, there's an odd smell from the brush - like paint or glue. If you tend to use the tip of the brush frequently, be aware that the product can clump. To avoid this, it's best to remove excess product from the tip before applying.

I have naturally long and full lashes, so mascara usually looks heavy and artificial on me. However, I started using this black lash serum because it looks natural and suits me well. I've been using a product from the salon before and haven't tried other brands! ✅ Benefits that are the same as my previous product: It naturally enhances my lashes and doesn't smudge once it dries! Even after being out for about 6 hours, it stayed put. I think it doesn't smudge because it forms a soft coating, preventing any powder from falling onto the eye area. It actually feels cleaner than waterproof mascaras! But before it dries, it's very easy to remove, so if you accidentally get some on your skin while applying, you can easily wipe it off. Not needing a makeup remover makes cleansing easier too. ✅ Advantages over my previous product: Although it's a lash serum and some clumping is inevitable, the Marsic brush releases less product, making it relatively easier to apply and less prone to clumping. Marsic also has a larger volume (though it's more expensive) - my previous one was 5ml, while Marsic is 7.5ml.
Cons❎ It applies much lighter than my previous product. At first, I thought the tube wasn't full because very little product came out on the brush. But comparing the thickness of the tips, I could see why. ❎ The brush bristles feel short and sparse. Perhaps because of this, it doesn't make much of a difference when applied. It's also inconvenient for applying to the shorter lashes at the front. ❎ The scent is unpleasant (smells like chemicals). You have to smell it up close to notice, so it's not too bothersome. But my previous product had a lovely fragrance that spread as soon as you opened it, making application a pleasant experience. This might be a plus for those who dislike fragrances, though. ❇️ Overall impression: It's neither bad nor good. If there wasn't anything better on the market, I might use Marsic, but I prefer my previous product.
TipIf you have long and full lashes, this could work as a mascara alternative, but you'd still need to use an eyelash curler. For those with short and sparse lashes, it might be good to use as a daytime lash serum with a bare face. Warning: This definitely doesn't perform like a mascara!
