  Pros

  Thanks to its salicylic acid content, this product is great for daily skin texture refinement. The big advantage is that it's mildly acidic and since you rinse it off anyway, it can dissolve sebum without being harsh on your skin!

  Cons

  While there aren't any real downsides, it's worth noting that it's not gentle enough to use when your skin barrier is completely compromised.

  Pros

  I was amazed by the idea of a low pH cleanser with BHA that could protect the skin barrier while managing sebum, so I decided to give it a try. - It has adequate cleansing effectiveness, perfect for morning cleansing. - The finish is neither slippery nor too squeaky clean. - It lathers well. - It doesn't cause blemishes. Honestly, it's a decent cleanser without any standout features. Since it neither improves nor worsens my skin, I'm using it liberally without any concerns.

  Cons

  - It's not effective for sebum control. As far as I know, BHA needs to stay on the skin for a while to be effective for sebum control. However, the BHA in cleansers only stays on the skin for about a minute at most, which isn't long enough to have any real effect. Perhaps that's why I didn't notice any improvement in my blackheads or sebum while using this product.

  Tip

  I'd recommend it as a mild, low pH cleanser that's neither too harsh nor too gentle - just a decent all-rounder.

  The mild acidity is a huge plus - it's gentle yet effectively removes dead skin cells and excess sebum. Using this consistently morning and night, with an occasional alkaline foam cleanser, eliminates the need for separate exfoliation.

  Cons

  Skin type: Super sensitive skin, combination dehydrated skin, with pustular acne Usage experience: This gentle foam cleanser has no fragrance and is low pH, yet it lathers well. I mainly use this for my daily cleansing routine, only using an alkaline cleanser on my T-zone at night. It's said that using a product with salicylic acid for morning cleansing helps manage fine dead skin cells and sebum. It was hard to find a low pH product containing salicylic acid, but Mixxun is the best! My skin is sensitive and prone to blemishes if I use the wrong product, but this leaves my skin feeling moisturized without causing any irritation. I'm really satisfied using it. Cleansing effectiveness: While it doesn't give that squeaky clean feeling like alkaline cleansers, I think it's sufficiently effective as a second cleanse or for morning cleansing.

  Cons

  You might think the foam isn't as rich as expected when you first start lathering, but if you rub it with warm water several times, it produces a rich lather. It's a satisfying product with no real downsides.

  Tip

  For my second cleanse or morning wash, I work up a good lather and massage it onto my skin. Then I leave it on for about 3 minutes while doing something else, give areas with more sebum like the nose and butterfly zone another massage, and then rinse it off. You'll see brighter skin when you're done!

  I decided to try this product because I heard good things about its low pH. Even though some low pH cleansers can lack cleansing power, this one feels like it effectively removes sebum deep within the pores.

  Pros

  I kept getting a pimple or two here and there, and I felt like my skin barrier was weakening from exfoliating too much. After some deliberation, I started using a foam cleanser with BHA and Centella Asiatica. I can see my excess sebum slowly disappearing.

  Cons

  I wish it had a higher concentration of Centella Asiatica. It's a bit disappointing for a Centella line product.

  Tip

  I use it every morning and evening. I don't exfoliate separately.
