It's great at removing excess sebum, and the dead skin cell exfoliation is top-notch.
ConsNothing really. Though if you prefer toners that are drenched in essence, this might not be your cup of tea.
TipHighly recommend as an exfoliating toner.

The pads themselves are quite sizeable too. There's a side with a grid pattern and a softer side. I think the best way to use it is to first cleanse with the textured side, then smooth out your skin texture with the soft side. The amount of essence is generous too. Since it's supposed to help with sebum control, dead skin cells, and skin soothing, I'm planning to use it consistently.
ConsI don't have any particular complaints yet. I haven't used many products like this before...

I prefer pads that give a refreshing feel like an exfoliating toner and leave a non-oily, fresh finish. I especially look for pads that purify sebum and remove impurities. Comparing the Needly Anti-Trouble Pad to others, it's less irritating and gentler than the Needly Daily Toner Pad. While the Daily pad can feel a bit rough and irritating, the Anti-Trouble pad has a soft texture and is formulated to be gentle, giving a refreshing cleanse without irritation. It's excellent at removing impurities and sebum ★★★★★. Despite being gentle, you can visibly see the sebum on the pad after use. Having oily skin, I often check pads for sebum removal. My personal ranking for sebum removal effectiveness (highly subjective): COSRX One Step Original Clear Pad ≥ Medicube Zero Pore Pad > Needly Anti-Trouble Pad > Numbuzin No.4 Gentle Care Pad > Needly Daily Toner Pad > A'SOLUTION Acne Clear Pad. While COSRX and Medicube are more effective, they're also more irritating than the Needly Anti-Trouble Pad, so I need to use them less frequently. I use the Needly pad almost daily and can really feel the improvement in sebum control. (The Numbuzin No.4 leaves a sticky feeling which I don't prefer, but I occasionally use it before makeup as it pairs well with semi-matte bases.)
ConsI didn't find any significant downsides. I've found my holy grail pad and settled on it. I used to use the original pad from COSRX, but it was too harsh for frequent use. Since becoming a Hwahae Tester, I've been enjoying the refreshing feel of this one. You might need to adjust usage based on your skincare routine. For dry or sensitive skin, daily use might be too much. As someone with oily, acne-prone skin, I used it once in the evening. When my skin felt sensitive from retinol use, I'd skip a day or two.
TipAfter use, gently pat the remaining essence into your skin. It revitalizes your complexion and leaves your skin feeling soft.

I have combination, oily skin, and my T-zone gets really greasy in the summer. But using this seems to regulate sebum production, which might be why I'm not getting any blemishes - it really works! Even when I occasionally break out due to hormones, it clears up quickly. Highly recommended!
ConsThere's nothing particularly bad about it... While those with skin types other than combination, oily, or acne-prone might not notice the benefits as much, if you fall into those categories, this product should work wonders for you!

They're made with both an embossed side and plain cotton, but even the embossed side doesn't irritate my skin. After using them, my skin feels so refreshed. It really feels like all the sebum and impurities are wiped away. The finish is nice and crisp too - I'm really impressed! It gives my skin a sense of being well-balanced.
ConsThe price is a bit high... And since they're for cleansing, you can't use them as a leave-on mask.

They're among the largest toner pads available. One side has a textured surface for exfoliation, while the other is smooth. I used the textured side first to remove dead skin cells, then gently wiped with the smooth side. This method left my face feeling squeaky clean, effectively removing excess dead skin cells and sebum that cleansing alone couldn't tackle. The essence: True to its anti-blemish name, there's a strong tea tree scent upon application. While I was initially concerned about potential irritation due to the strong fragrance, I didn't experience any skin issues, suggesting it's not overly harsh. The essence is generously saturated in the pads, ensuring they're thoroughly soaked without running short.
ConsHaving primarily used SK-II cotton pads before, I noticed these pads felt more abrasive on the skin. Despite the ample essence, the pads can't be split and don't adhere well to the face. This makes them more suitable as an exfoliating toner rather than for spot treatments or as a mask.
TipIf you're in the market for exfoliating toner pads infused with tea tree, these are spot on!

If you're concerned about those tiny, bumpy sebaceous filaments on your nose and cheek 'butterfly zone', you'll definitely be satisfied! I found that using these pads alone eliminated the need for nose strips or pore masks for sebum removal. Also, while I used to avoid salicylic acid BHA products due to the burning and tingling sensation, this one uses betaine salicylate, which is noticeably less irritating and can be used without that burning feeling. After using and drying the pad, the finish feels slightly sticky and elastic, which I liked because it seemed to help my serum absorb better. The stickiness wasn't an issue as it dissipates when applying cream anyway. Lastly, while it doesn't have a pleasant fragrance due to being fragrance-free, the scent is typical of skincare products targeting acne-prone skin, so it was fine.
ConsThere's a hook inside the lid to hang the spatula, but if you close the lid too forcefully, the spatula can fall off. It's better to close it gently or just keep the spatula outside when using.
TipSince it contains exfoliating ingredients, it's better to use it once a day or every other day, depending on your skin condition, rather than using it every morning and night when you wash your face. Also, for those with a compromised skin barrier or super sensitive skin, it might be better to use only the smooth side of the pad rather than the embossed side.

I absolutely love it. One pad is enough to cover the entire face. The pads are quite thick and have a smooth texture that's not rough, which I really appreciate. They're soft and fluffy to the touch. There's plenty of essence, so I think the pads will stay moist until the very last one. It's great for refining skin texture and gently removing dead skin cells. I used it daily without any skin irritation or blemishes. It feels like it's wiping away any remaining sebum or impurities even after cleansing. After use, my skin felt soft and the finish was fresh without any stickiness. The pad case comes with tweezers attached to the inside of the lid, which seems great for hygienic use. Plus, there's a sealing cap in the middle to prevent the dreaded essence leakage disaster! I think this will become my favorite pad for summer~~
ConsSince it's primarily an exfoliating pad, using it alone can be a bit drying. It's essential to moisturize after using these pads.

The embossed side is great for exfoliating. The built-in tweezers and storage compartment are super convenient. Essence: It's perfect for clearing away dead skin cells and excess sebum. My forehead's closed comedones improved somewhat, and the acne along my jawline got a bit better after exfoliating with this. The tea tree helps with acne removal, while panthenol and allantoin seem to help soothe the skin. Scent: It has a tea tree smell. Overall: These pads are a solid choice for exfoliating if you're dealing with blemishes and dead skin cells. I deducted one star because the essence isn't quite abundant enough.
ConsI felt the pads were a bit lacking in essence. While you can see the essence sloshing around in the container as shown in the photo, the pads themselves don't feel sufficiently saturated. I wish the pads could retain more of the essence.
TipAfter trying it out, I wouldn't recommend using this as a pack. It's better suited as an exfoliating toner.

While they do seem to somewhat refine the skin, they're not particularly effective for clearing blackheads or whiteheads. On the bright side, they're gentle enough for daily use, even on sun-exposed skin in summer, without causing irritation. There's really minimal irritation, which is great. The pads are quite large, which took some getting used to, but I found it convenient for quick cleansing and easy to leave on the skin. The built-in tweezers in the lid are incredibly handy - I love that feature!
ConsWhile they're gentle on the skin, the noticeable effects seem rather minimal. Also, although the tweezers are built into the lid, they're directly exposed to the pads when closed. It would be nice to have a separator in between, like a double lid similar to a compact powder case, to ensure better hygiene and peace of mind.
TipIf you find the pads too large, you can easily tear them in half. I often do this and place each half under my eyes - it's the perfect size!
