The ingredients list is clean, and unless you have sensitive skin, it's a smooth-feeling cream that helps soothe blemishes for oily skin types. I love that it contains tea tree oil too.
ConsTo be honest, if you have extremely oily skin, you might still feel a bit of richness with this cream. After applying, I noticed some oil coming through on my T-zone and nose area as time passed... I'd say it's about 80% hydration to 20% oil. You could adjust the amount for spring, fall, and winter use, but for oily skin in summer, it might be tough to use alone... (Also, since it's not super hydrating, I wouldn't recommend it for dry or combination dehydrated skin)
TipIn summer or when you're experiencing a lot of blemishes, instead of using it alone, try mixing it with aloe gel or a lightweight serum in a 2:1 ratio. It gives a more refreshing finish that way!

I've gone through so many bottles, I've lost count - it's truly one of the top creams out there. There's absolutely no stickiness, and it works great for both morning and night use. When I apply it generously before bed, I notice a real difference in my skin condition, and it even seems to calm my blemishes significantly. As a soothing cream, it's not heavy or suffocating at all. It absorbs quickly, which is perfect for someone like me who hates sticky textures. I have redness-prone skin, so I'm quite sensitive about skincare, but this product actually reduces my redness and provides overall soothing effects. It's a cream with almost no rich feeling (I couldn't detect any at all), so it seems suitable for all skin types. For those with super sensitive skin, combination dehydrated skin, or combination skin like mine, I highly recommend it!
ConsWhile I can't really think of any downsides and I'm satisfied with how it finishes with a fresh feel without any oiliness, I actually find the cream itself lacking in hydration and moisture. It soothes well, but if I apply even a little less than usual, my skin ends up feeling a bit dry later on.....
TipHere's a real pro tip! (It's a method I've found really effective too!) There are green tea oil blotting papers available at Daiso. About once or twice a week, apply 2-3 times your usual amount of cream like a mask, then place the green tea oil blotting paper over it like a sheet mask. After 5-15 minutes, remove it. You'll feel hydration building from deep within your skin. More than hydration, I've seen amazing results for blemishes. I highly recommend using it as a soothing mask too!

I've been consistently using it because I love the refreshing sensation rather than any harsh irritation. Although it's hard to say that blemishes disappear instantly, you can visibly see them subsiding with regular use. The finish absorbs quickly, so I hardly felt the stickiness that you might experience with other creams.
ConsFor combination or dry skin types, especially in winter, this product lacks sufficient moisturization. True to its name as a soothing cream, it feels like it's providing hydration rather than deep moisture, so those with dry skin might need an additional moisturizing layer.
TipThis product seems suitable for slightly dry to oily skin types during spring and summer. Those with oily skin might find it works well even into fall.

ConsWhile it didn't cause any blemishes, there were too many downsides in various aspects, including how it feels on the skin. I bought it with high hopes since it was recommended for combination dehydrated skin, but when first applied, it feels rich and doesn't absorb well. After absorption, for some reason, all the oil disappears and it becomes extremely dry. The deep dryness is severe too. Even though I'm using a separate hydrating serum, it's still too drying. Unless you have extremely oily skin, I really can't recommend this at all.

However, it might not be as moisturizing as expected. Advantages: • Excellent for calming blemishes - The tea tree + cica combination quickly soothes irritated skin. • Lightweight feel - Applies smoothly without heaviness, suitable for oily and combination skin types. • Non-sticky finish - Dries to a matte finish without leaving an oily residue. • Gentle formula - Non-irritating and mild, making it suitable for super sensitive skin.
ConsDisadvantages: • Somewhat lacking in hydration - If you're expecting a deeply moisturizing cream, it might feel a bit dry. • Doesn't address deep dryness - While it feels moisturizing on the surface, it may not provide enough deep hydration. • Not recommended for skin needing intense moisture - May not provide enough hydration for dry skin types when used alone.
TipRecommended for: • Those needing to calm blemishes - Great for soothing acne or redness! • People who prefer lightweight creams - You'll love this if you're looking for a non-sticky, fresh-feeling cream. • Oily & combination skin types - Its low oil content makes it perfect for a light, non-greasy application. Overall verdict: While the soothing effect is definite, the moisturizing power is slightly disappointing! If you have dry skin, rather than using it alone, we recommend layering it with a hydrating cream.

It's great to use products from the same range together. The formula is gentle, non-irritating, and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated! It absorbs well into the skin too. The high moisture content is perfect for my combination dehydrated skin!! I have to praise its oil and moisture balance.
ConsDue to its high moisture content, the cream might feel a bit runny for some. Also, while it's rich in hydration, it's not particularly oily, so it might be a tad dry for those with very dry skin.
TipIf you find the cream a bit drying, or if you need extra moisture before bed, try mixing in a small amount of D-panthenol ointment (cream type) available at pharmacies. This will keep your skin hydrated until morning and improve your skin barrier as a bonus.

I think it's because of the tea tree ingredient. I tried it on the back of my hand in-store before buying, and the texture absorbs well without pilling. The scent is also refreshing with a hint of tea tree, which I really liked.
ConsHowever, it lacks moisturizing power for combination dehydrated or dry skin types. While it can provide hydration, the formula is more like a water-based gel with almost no oil content. I wouldn't recommend it to those expecting intense moisturization. Due to its lack of moisturizing power, I've been mixing it with glycerin and jojoba oil lately, which works perfectly for me!

Unlike some moisturizers that can feel suffocating on the skin like silicone, this one doesn't. It absorbs quickly when you pat it in.
ConsIt's great for hydration, but due to the lack of oil, my skin feels dry when I wake up. In summer, the oil-free formula is fine, but as the seasons change, I definitely notice the lack of richness. Even with the same skincare routine and base, the lack of oil in this final cream step makes my base makeup feel heavy quickly. That's a bit disappointing.

It was from the Dr. X brand, haha. I'd say the calming effect is similar to that one.
ConsIt might be a bit drying in winter. While it's packed with hydration, it seems to lack a bit in terms of oil content.

It's wonderfully hydrating and perfect for daily use, just like a moisturizer! It's genuinely gentle, so it doesn't cause any blemishes.
ConsTo be honest, saying it has absolutely no oiliness is a bit of a stretch. There is a slight richness to it. But since our skin needs some oil too, I'm still satisfied!
TipI apply it in the morning, before lunch, after brushing my teeth, and in the evening. If you keep using it, you'll notice your skin becoming more supple. Give it a try! It's not heavy at all, which is really great.
