I had to visit four different stores to find this! No wonder it's so popular. How can they offer this quality at such a price? Summer is coming, my delicate-skinned friends. Better get your primer ready soon!

Does anyone know why this isn't more popular? It covers pores well and acts as a brightening moisturizer. When applied before your base makeup, it prevents darkening. It gives a lovely pink tint that evens out your skin tone beautifully.

It noticeably brightens the skin, has a pleasant scent, and provides excellent hydration

Make sure to apply it to your neck and below your ears too. This ensures it doesn't look obvious and truly appears like your natural complexion.

It might feel a bit heavy for summer use.

The fragrance is slightly strong. I've used products with even stronger scents, so I can tolerate this, but it's noticeable enough to be constantly aware of it. It has that artificial floral scent typical of some IPKN products. I also own the IPKN Perfume Powder Pact #21, which has an even stronger scent as it's labeled as 'perfume'. Compared to that, this is milder, but... tolerance varies from person to person. Be careful when applying it with a headache, as the scent might make it worse.

While it's not noticeable when you're out and about, after removing makeup and washing your face, you might notice some redness and small bumps. Existing small blemishes seemed more pronounced.

When your skin isn't in great condition, you might feel it more. Given its ingredients aren't as good as some decent foundations or cushions, it might be better to use those instead of going for a foundation-free look with this.

I wouldn't recommend this for those with sensitive noses or sensitive skin. If you have very dry/dry/combination dehydrated skin, I suggest applying it after thoroughly hydrating your skin. Otherwise, after a few hours, your skin might look flaky with visible white patches.

It's on the richer side and has a thick consistency, but it finishes matte and velvety, perfect for winter use.

Applying a mist over the cream seems to make it more hydrating and helps makeup adhere better! On days when dark circles are particularly noticeable, applying it under the eyes provides good coverage.

I'm not sure about its effectiveness as a primer. It tends to pill a bit if applied over oily skin. Not recommended for summer as it comes off easily with sweat!

📸 / Even when I used less than the initial amount, it brightened my skin to about a 21-19 shade, despite my hands being quite tanned. With two more layers, it lightened to about a 15-13 shade. The last two photos show the difference between gently rubbing it in and really working it into the skin. The whitening effect remains either way, so if you want maximum brightening, layer it carefully. For a more natural look, one or two layers should be perfect!

I purchased this very inexpensively from Daiso! I love how it brightens my complexion with a pink glow and leaves a soft, velvety finish, so I use it a lot for no-makeup makeup looks.
