It's just like a water toner? Not bad, and I felt it absorbed well It absorbs well, but the finish left my skin feeling a bit oily - da*****************Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 19, 2025
The way it absorbs is great. It definitely feels like it's controlling sebum. My skin is less oily in the afternoon. The hydration could be better. After cleansing, I experience deep dryness and tightness. This toner alone doesn't feel hydrating enough. I need to apply a cream on top to really feel moisturized. - 4g********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 21, 2025
From the moment I first applied it, the fragrance was so delightful that it instantly won me over. After using it, I fell even more in love with this product! The cooling effect and absorption are just the basics - what really stands out is how it keeps your skin hydrated. It's a reliable product that takes care of your skin from start to finish in your skincare routine. The best part? It seems to work well for all skin types, no matter what! If I had to nitpick, I'd say they could improve the packaging of the toner bottle. The texture is slightly thicker than water, more like a serum. But if you apply it evenly on a cotton pad and gently pat it along your skin's texture, even dry skin will soon have a beautiful glow. - sa*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 20, 2025
This review is based on finishing an entire bottle! As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm extremely cautious when choosing skincare products. This one was gentle enough that I could liberally apply it right after cleansing. A major plus is that this toner helps manage both pores and dead skin cells in one go! However, in terms of overall performance, I didn't notice much difference compared to other good toners I've used. The bottle is also on the smaller side, so I felt hesitant to use it too generously. For these reasons, I don't plan on repurchasing. - sh*********Normal SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresFeb 8, 2025
It definitely controls oiliness well. When used at night, skin feels fresh even the next day. It seems to have significantly reduced excess sebum. Possibly due to its ingredients, it can be a bit harsh. There's a burning sensation right after application. Since I started using it, I've been getting more frequent small bumps and blemishes. - 2c********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 2, 2025
My skin is both dry and oily, prone to dead skin cells build-up and blemishes. When I first started using this toner with PHA, for about a week, my face was shedding so much it was uncomfortable to apply makeup. However, after that initial week, my skin became smoother and I noticed fewer breakouts. Before, I used toners out of habit, but now I'm using this one with genuine satisfaction for the first time! I'm satisfied with both the scent and the product itself. However, the volume is quite small - it runs out in about a month. Also, I think the price is not exactly budget-friendly! Remember to shake it well before use, everyone! - so****Combination SkinRecommendedJan 21, 2025
It's moisturizing and generally satisfactory. Works well as an exfoliating toner. There's not much to complain about. I used it without any issues. - br********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 31, 2024
Volcanic ash is amazing! It's excellent for reducing pores. It's rare to find a cosmetic product with such immediate effects. My mom and I have gone through several bottles of this product. It's great to apply chilled in summer, as it tightens enlarged pores and feels refreshing. The scent is reminiscent of men's skincare products. Since it involves mixing powder, it may irritate sensitive and super sensitive skin. Sometimes, the particles aren't finely ground, so larger clumps can feel scratchy. The dispenser opening is too wide, making it easy to spill when dispensing into your palm. They should reduce the size of the opening. You can also transfer it to a pump bottle for use. - jy*********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 30, 2024
It's nice for light, everyday use. Not amazing, but definitely not bad either. It feels a bit watery and seems to dry quickly. Other than that, it's okay. - cs*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedNov 11, 2024
Pores, pores, pores... The aftermath of teenage acne bombardment still lingers. But now I wonder if it's age-related loss of elasticity causing my pores to stretch? Pore-focused products I've tried before only had temporary effects. So I bought this product without much expectation and have been using it every evening. It seems to refine my skin texture nicely. (Can't tell about deep pore cleansing without a device though...) I've been checking my skin almost daily using the Amore app, and while my pores fluctuate, overall it feels pretty good - excluding the areas between my eyebrows, above my upper lip, and where I've plucked or shaved. I've used quite a few pore-related products from various brands regularly, so there might be some synergistic effects at play. For those who skip toner due to sensitivity, try this as your first step after cleansing. The cooling sensation as the hydration absorbs feels quite pleasant. (Physiogel never gave me this overflowing hydration feeling) There's a subtle scent, but it's not overpowering or irritating. No headaches or queasiness - that's a plus! Many pore products contain pore-clogging ingredients, even within the same line depending on whether it's a toner, cream, or foam cleanser. This toner doesn't have any of those troublesome ingredients. The downside is... Such a tiny amount? Who's supposed to use this - ants? Fold a cotton pad in half, then in thirds. Saturate the center with toner. Gently press the pad against your skin, as if you're spreading the toner. Then, using your fingertips, lightly pat to help absorption.
