It doesn't seem to cause much irritation, which is good.
ConsI haven't been using it for long, so I'm not sure about its effectiveness yet. But so far, I don't have any complaints.

Now I'm using it every other day! - I was planning to switch to a pharmacy-grade vitamin A (retinol) product if this didn't work out, but I'm so pleased with it that I'll be sticking with this for a while.
Cons- I don't have any complaints yet. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the dropper could be improved.
Tip- I balance my skin's pH before application by using a low pH foam cleanser or toner. - I use it in my evening skincare routine.

I personally noticed some of my fine lines smoothing out after use. What I particularly loved was its lightweight, fluid texture that glides on the skin smoothly and absorbs quickly. It's also passed sensitivity tests, so I felt reassured using it without irritation. With consistent use, I found my complexion became more even.
ConsHowever, I did experience a slight tingling sensation during the first application. For beginners, it might be best to use this only in the evening. Also, it takes some time before you see noticeable results, so don't expect instant changes. The price point is a bit on the higher side, which might be a concern for some.

No side effects like tingling or irritation - it's really gentle on the skin.
ConsThe amount you get is a bit on the small side, so it might not be the best value for money.

It applies and absorbs well. Since it's not a full 1% retinol, but rather a blend of 0.1% retinol, 0.6% bakuchiol, and 0.3% retinyl palmitate, it's a gentle option for those new to retinol. You can gradually increase usage. As someone with super sensitive skin, I started with a tiny amount and slowly increased to about three drops after a week of adjustment. After cleansing, I use an exfoliating toner or booster serum, then apply this retinol serum, followed by a hydrating moisturizer. I haven't experienced any blemishes. For me, it's neither too light nor too heavy in the current weather, but I might need a richer cream in winter. In summer, it could feel a bit heavy, so I plan to repurchase in autumn after finishing this bottle by April.
ConsWhile it seemed affordable compared to other retinol products, the small quantity means it runs out quickly. However, since retinol is best kept away from air and light after opening, this smaller size might actually be better for maintaining the product's quality than a larger bottle would be.

Retinol products are usually expensive, but this one offers great value for the quantity. - Retinol is typically the most irritating ingredient, but they've cleverly mixed it with other derivatives to reduce irritation while maximizing effectiveness. - The quantity seems just right to prevent oxidation. It's enough to use up within 3-4 months, unlike larger sizes that might go to waste. - With 0.1% retinol, it's perfect for those who've tried derivatives or retinol beginners with non-sensitive skin.
ConsNo major drawbacks so far. If anything, the retinol percentage is a bit low, which might mean slightly less potent results. But this could actually be a plus for newcomers - it's only a downside from my experienced perspective!
TipIt's best to store retinol products in the fridge and use them within 3-4 months after opening. Beyond that, the active retinol may oxidize or degrade, losing its benefits. For first-time users, always check the retinol concentration and gradually build up tolerance. This product's mix of 0.1% retinol and derivatives makes for a gentle introduction! Remember, retinol serums can be quite potent. Don't slather it on like a hydrating serum - just use 2-3 drops, gently pressing it into your skin. If you experience redness or discomfort, try mixing it with a moisturizer or reducing the amount. If retinol seems too harsh, start with gentler derivatives like retinoids. It's all about finding what works for your skin!

ConsI have sensitive skin, so when I used it every other day, I got blemishes. Now I'm using it once a week.
TipYou need to adjust the frequency of use based on your skin condition.

Usually, my skin would peel when using retinol, but this time it's perfectly fine.
ConsI've been using it for a week, and I'm noticing some small blemishes appearing. It's a bit disheartening, but I suppose my skin will get used to it eventually.

Definitely considering repurchasing.
ConsThe product ran out in just two weeks due to its small size! And the scent is a bit... off-putting.
TipI use this retinol product every other day.

ConsNo real downsides, except that it runs out quickly due to the small amount.
