I loved it so much I've gifted it to many people. It was especially well-received by men! No typical sunscreen greasiness or eye irritation. As someone with sensitive skin, even sunscreens can sting when my skin isn't in good condition, but this product is gentle enough to use even on those days without any issues. Highly recommended for those with sensitive skin looking for a sunscreen stick that doesn't leave a white cast, isn't greasy, and feels light on the skin! Scent: Almost unscented, great for those sensitive to fragrances Packaging: Curved shape that fits the hand, making it easy to apply. The cap closes tightly, so no worries about it opening in your bag. Texture: Initially slightly firm, but becomes smoother with use, gliding on easily to match facial contours. It applies thinly and silkily without clumping, coating the skin comfortably without greasiness. Highly recommended for those who dislike applying sticky sunscreens! Ingredients: Even certified by French EVE VEGAN Trustworthy as it contains no animal-derived or genetically modified ingredients, and isn't tested on animals. The brand also shows environmental consideration by not using paper coating on the packaging.
ConsContains calamine powder for a silky, matte finish, but this doesn't work well with base makeup. When applied before makeup, it can pill or cause dead skin cells to surface over time. Therefore, it's recommended to use on makeup-free days or on the body.

ConsIt's difficult to apply when you're almost finished with the product, and sometimes it pills like dead skin cells

Pores and sebum control. The ingredients don't contain any pore-clogging elements. Its smooth texture makes it easy to apply on facial contours, so you can quickly slather it on without the hassle often associated with sunscreens.
ConsWhen applied after skincare products (toner, serum, cream), it pills like dead skin... I've tried using it with different skincare products, but it still pills... I wouldn't recommend applying it on the face.
TipIt doesn't feel sticky when applied and leaves a powdery finish, making it great for body use. I'd recommend it as a body sunscreen.

Currently, I have dry skin with only one or two pimples appearing before my period. 🌸Packaging Bean-shaped with a curved design, A dial that can be turned both ways, A lid that closes securely, And a sturdy, flexible container that won't break if dropped. The product itself is like hardened wax. It's neither too soft nor too hard. It doesn't melt easily in pocket heat. It's colorless, odorless, and a mineral sunscreen. 🌸Application Glides on smoothly without much pressure Applies thinly and adheres well to the skin. However, apply slowly. If applied quickly, it can pill. It's so invisible that you might forget where you applied it. 🌸Immediately After Application Feels moisturizing underneath Not overly hydrating, but has an oily feel. It seems to lock in your skincare routine after cleansing. However, it's definitely not greasy It provides just enough moisture to use comfortably even in summer. The surface feels light and powdery thanks to the calamine powder. To be precise, it's more of a silky-smooth feeling than powdery? It's like a regular sunstick with a fine layer of powder on top. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, there's no eye irritation. And absolutely no stickiness. There's no intense burst of hydration No cooling effect You really can't feel that you've applied anything at all. It doesn't feel like anything It doesn't look like anything It's as if you've applied nothing. Looks like bare skin. Only when you touch your skin do you realize 'Oh... I did apply something'. 🌸Can it be used as a primer? When you touch it, it feels slightly Like pores and texture have been reduced Soft and smooth Silky and velvety Perfect to use as a primer. It actually feels like I've applied a heavy-duty primer after the sunstick when doing base makeup. However, the difference from a real primer is that A primer fills in pores to create a smooth surface This sunstick covers the skin like a blanket So it's heavier and reduces makeup longevity. 🌸After Some Time It's just my natural oils coming through after cleansing There's no oil breakthrough from the applied sunstick. This seems to vary from person to person For my dry skin, the calamine powder helps reduce the appearance of natural oils. My friend with oily skin says that, being a sunstick, it made her skin oilier than if she hadn't applied anything. It does crease in the double eyelid line It's so invisible that this creasing is the only sign I applied sunscreen today! Time to cleanse! lol 🌸Cleansing It can be removed with a single cleanse using a good cleansing foam. I used Innisfree Volcanic Cluster Cleansing Foam. (It's one of the most effective cleansing foams I own) (Not an ad) For reference, I inquired if it could be removed with just one cleanse and received this response: Hello, this is HYGGEE. Thank you for your interest in our product. The product you inquired about can be easily removed with our Soft Reset Green Cleansing Foam or Low pH Hyaluronic Gel Cleanser. If water droplets remain on your skin after cleansing, we recommend cleansing once more. Thank you. Have a great day.
ConsIf you apply too much and touch it, it can pill like dead skin. While it's true that sunsticks can attract dust due to their nature, the convenience of being able to apply it quickly without getting it on your hands is a bigger advantage.
TipApply slowly to prevent pilling. With its good ingredients, easy application, and simple cleansing process, It seems like it would be great for applying on children too.

ConsIt pilled a bit, possibly due to layering too many skincare products underneath. I'll need to test it again to be sure.

The stick format is convenient and perfect for light touch-ups.
ConsThe downside is that sometimes when I apply it on dry skin, it can cause dead skin cells to clump up and flake off.

It's great for touch-ups too! The fragrance is almost non-existent, which is perfect for those with sensitive noses. I'm really satisfied because it's not irritating and doesn't sting my eyes when applied!
ConsSince it has a powdery finish, those with dry skin might find it a bit drying. It's not extremely drying, but I notice that when I apply this matte-type sunscreen over my skincare, my skin feels increasingly dry as time passes. This could just be my personal experience though. Also, if you apply too much, due to its light and powdery texture, it can pill up a bit like little balls. It's fine if you apply the right amount though. While those with dry skin might find it drying and it can pill if overapplied, I'm still satisfied as these issues can be managed with proper use!
TipSunscreen is crucial 365 days a year, so try this convenient sunstick! I was really pleased when I used it not just on my face but on my body too. In the strong summer sun, body sunscreen can feel sticky and unpleasant to apply, but this sunstick goes on quickly with a powdery finish - it's fantastic!

ConsWhatever you do, don't apply foundation over this. It pills up terribly, leaving a mess on your skin.
TipI'd recommend using this only on days when you're not wearing makeup.

Unlike other sunsticks I've used that felt sticky on my face and body, this one is non-sticky and leaves a wonderfully matte finish. There's absolutely zero greasiness. It's surprising because usually products that finish matte have poor application, but this one applies smoothly. Greasy sunscreens can cause makeup to slide off and transfer when you touch your face, which is really stressful. But with the Hygge sunstick, you can apply makeup over it without any pilling. It actually works like a primer, creating a solid base for makeup (as you can see in the photo, it creates a matte, firm finish). It's perfect for these days when sebum, oil, and sweat are out of control. Also, it's practically fragrance-free, so even those sensitive to scents can use it without worry. As a vegan product, it deserves extra praise. Although I received this as part of The Hwahae Testers program, it's a product I'd happily purchase with my own money next summer after using it well this season!
ConsThere aren't many downsides, but if I had to mention one, it's that if you apply it too forcefully without controlling your strength, the product can pill a bit like dead skin cells.
