The downside is that the pills are quite large. They're not the easiest to swallow.

I usually take magnesium for better sleep, but when I heard that Cal-Mag could help with weight management, I started taking calcium, magnesium, and vitamin D together. While I'm not sure about its effect on weight loss, I found it better than just taking magnesium alone. It's great that I don't have to worry about getting calcium separately.
