  I was looking for a convenient sunscreen stick that could brighten my complexion, and I found the Charmzone Tone-Up Sun Stick that perfectly matched what I wanted. While there were more downsides than I initially expected, the value for money and how it absorbs make it worth it. It's a stick type that's easy to apply, so I've been using it daily. There are four varieties of the stick, and I chose the tone-up sun stick. The hygiene factor of stick application, its portability, and the slight brightening effect on top of sun protection are definite pluses. It gives a radiant look before makeup. I'm considering trying their Collagen Multi Stick next time. The stick format is truly convenient.

  When used alone, it doesn't quite cover skin imperfections, even slightly. Despite being a stick type, you need to spread it a bit with your fingers to prevent pilling during makeup application. You have to blend it in with your hands for a smooth finish.

  As someone who's obsessed with brightening moisturizers, I'm thrilled that even sunsticks now offer tone-up effects! I exclusively use tone-up sunscreens, so this was incredibly innovative. The brightening effect is fantastic too. When you apply it, it goes on with a light purple tint, but if you blend out any clumps with your fingers, it looks even more natural.

  Hmm, the texture is a bit disappointing... We use sunsticks for convenience, but having to blend out clumps with your fingers doesn't feel particularly handy. Also, when applied to the face, it feels somewhat greasy or oily, so it's not ideal before makeup. For body use, it's a hassle to blend out the clumps. I might use it on my neck, if anything?

  I originally used brightening moisturizer with SPF, but I bought this randomly to reapply when my sunscreen wears off outdoors. Surprisingly, it's so good that it's become a staple in my routine! It visibly evens skin tone without leaving a white cast, and it's adequately hydrating without being sticky, making it perfect for year-round use. The price is wallet-friendly, allowing for guilt-free application. I love the pretty pink color of the stick too. Unlike typical square sunsticks that are tricky to apply under the eyes, this one's perfectly cylindrical shape makes it easy to use even in narrow areas!

  It's meant for the face and can be a bit challenging to use on the body, probably because the tip is quite narrow.

  After applying sunscreen, I swipe this stick over areas where I want extra brightening for that Inner Glow.

  It absorbs well and true to its name, it evens skin tone. It's not too powdery, making it more suitable for dry to normal skin types. The scent is typical of average sunscreens.

  Cons

  It leaves streaks along the grain, so you need to blend it with your hands or a puff. The advantage of sunsticks - not getting on your hands - doesn't apply to this product. Also, due to its cylindrical shape, it can partially break if you're not careful with the pressure applied.

  Tip

  For those with normal to dry skin who want sun protection without looking like they're wearing makeup, this product and just filling in your eyebrows should do the trick. For oily skin types, I recommend the AHC Park Se-ri sunstick.
