The downside is that you need to buy a special sharpener separately, and it's a bit of a hassle to have to sharpen it yourself.

The application is fantastic! It glides on so smoothly that there's hardly any pilling on top of your base makeup. After applying it over your foundation, just gently press it in with a puff and you're good to go! Also, for those with 19-21 skin tones, I find that the lighter shades provide better coverage than the darker ones. I'm really satisfied with this product!

There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. It's pretty decent overall - just a solid, reliable product.

It's great that you can use it as both a highlighter and a concealer.

While it's a bit of a hassle to have to sharpen it, it's still fantastic.

First off, it absorbs beautifully. It glides on incredibly smoothly. The coverage is excellent, and I'm really satisfied. Honestly, The SAEM concealers are always top-notch.

There's honestly nothing to complain about, except maybe having to sharpen it, which is a bit inconvenient.

It gently covers imperfections without removing foundation. As expected, The SAEM concealer is the best!

If you don't sharpen it carefully, the tip can be too pointy and hurt when applying.

It's convenient and easy to apply. I love how smoothly it glides on. It does a great job covering dark circles.

Color:

I bought shade 0.5 Ice Beige expecting it to be very light, intending to use it to add volume to my aegyo sal. However, as someone with a 17-19 skin tone, I was surprised to find it wasn't particularly bright. It unexpectedly matched my skin tone, forcing me to change my intended use. I wouldn't recommend this for those with lighter complexions than mine.

Coverage:

Interestingly, when I applied this after setting my base with powder, both the coverage and staying power improved significantly. The coverage was quite decent.

Creasing:

Since my under-eye area is darker than my skin tone, applying a bit to my aegyo sal (under-eye fat pads) gives a subtle lifted effect. Over time, there's some creasing, but it's not severe. It can accentuate dry patches (like post-acne flaky skin), but it's manageable.

Application:

It glides on smoothly for the most part. Sometimes it can bunch up, so I always test it on the back of my hand first. This reduces clumping and ensures even application without product buildup.

Longevity:

While not exceptional, the staying power isn't bad. Given its smooth application, it's understandable that it might not last as long as some other products.

Unfortunately, there wasn't a shade suitable for cool-toned skin in shade 13. I tried shade 1, then bought 0.5, but both were misses. For now, it's going into the drawer...

The ingredients are great and it's easy to use thanks to the pencil format. It doesn't break easily and there's no excess powder fallout.

The staying power isn't great. It smudges off easily when you rub it. Also, I found it a bit hard, which irritated my skin when applying. It doesn't glide on smoothly. While the pencil's length means it'll last a long time, it's inconveniently long for carrying around.

I bought this because it's said to be great for aegyo-sal (under-eye puffiness). It's a light beige color, perfect for adding volume to that area. They even included a sharpener with the purchase, so it'll truly last forever... The pencil is incredibly long!

The length seems to have decreased compared to before... so disappointing.

It's excellent for spot coverage and doesn't cause any pilling with your base makeup.

For darker scars, cover with this concealer pencil first, then layer a pot concealer on top for perfect coverage.

I'm still struggling with sharpening it. It breaks once every time I sharpen, but the product is so good I can't give up on it...

Great for covering small areas. I have acne scars, so coverage is important. When I apply a thin layer of foundation and then use this pencil for spot coverage, it covers perfectly.

Apply it on your aegyo sal (under-eye puff) before eyeshadow, and the staying power that day is unbeatable! It's absolutely fantastic.

When applied over dry blemishes, it tends to crack, making them stand out more rather than concealing them.

For those with fair skin (I'm shade 19), there's no better concealer for naturally covering small blemishes over foundation. It covers imperfections incredibly well - The Saem is truly the best!
