This is a spring light that covers the 21~22 fall mute color tones! Even though my lip size is small and tends to be purplish and highly pigmented, I was tempted by the description of the 'slightly baked rose beige' color and decided to give it a try. It has a fluffy, velvety texture like the popular Peach Pudding Pot or Holika Lip Pot. It's not an in-between glossy velvet, but a truly soft and smooth type that fills in lip wrinkles, so it can also be used as a blush. Compared to other velvet tints, it doesn't feel messy or bleed easily, and the staying power on the lips is quite good.
Cons
While the quality of the product itself is quite decent, I personally think the color tone of the Rusty Chic is a bit ambiguous. The 'baked rose beige' color I see on the back of my hand is different from how it actually looks on my lips - it's more highly pigmented and has a pinkish-purple tone. The more I spread it, the more the cool undertone and high saturation become apparent, which I don't really like. And combined with the natural purplish tone of my lips, it just doesn't seem to suit me... I sometimes take out the Rusty Chic and use it, as it reminds me of the color I had hoped to get from the Espoir Serenade, but it's a bit too dark and bold for daily wear, so I don't reach for it often.
